I hesitated to get this for my great grand’s Parents because I thought they may be upset with me thinking that just because they’re going to be first time parents that they wouldn’t know everything they should about raising a little one. But then I heard on the news about a 2 yr old baby that got left in a Grandparent’s truck for 7 or 8 hours in 98 F outside and inside temp was about 135 F and I said No I don’t care if they get upset with me or not the Baby’s Safety is the most important thing that matters! This to me is like a seat belt or car seat or airbags that protect us just in case. I look at this Blinc alarm as a safety device that will keep the unimaginable from ever happening to a baby, small child, or even little fur babies! I will be ordering more for my car, my husband’s truck and another one for the parents so they each will have one in their vehicle. This literally can be a LIFESAVER! I hope everyone with precious cargo will get one of these to put into their vehicles because in today’s hectic world that we live in it truly does take just a second from a phone call or text or message and although it just seems unbelievable unimaginable that that could ever happen to a baby or small child by the most important people in their little world a Mom, a Dad, a MiMi or Papa, Auntie or Uncle that their attention could be taken away and forget the little one is still in the car! Unfathomable to imagine but heartbreaking because it does! I’m so glad that I saw this and ordered it and I don’t care if the Baby’s parents get upset with me or not; if they think about it they will see that it’s out of Deep Love for them and my great grand that I’m giving this BLINC to them! Had high hopes for this device. Came well packaged and with good intentions, but is too reliant on the individual build quality of the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle.We've never really used the adapter in our Honda, it's not been worn out or abused, but still, this device repeatedly came unseated and 'reset' itself while the vehicle was in motion.Since this is a mission critical device, its inability to remain connected to the power supply and the attendant issues made it clear that we had to return the device to Amazon.Perhaps we got a dud, perhaps it's the cigarette lighter in the vehicle. Either way, the device, as designed and implemented, didn't work properly for us.If there could be an improvement in reliability, I'd consider trying again, but not if every speedbump or pothole is a potential for the device to fail in its basic function.

I like the ease of installation, but the voice that prompts you not to forget is too quiet. The voice alarm is too quiet to easily grab my attention when getting in and out of the car.

Sometimes it doesn’t remind me until long after the ignition is turned off and I could have been 1/2 way into the house. Overall it seems to be helpful that it is a measure of protection but it’s a little glitchy. It’s gone off randomly as I’m driving down the road and not at all other times.

But when you get in your vehicle it tells you ‘if you have a baby please push the button’ and when you cut your key off a child’s voice comes on saying ‘daddy don’t forget about me’.I wish it had more options for mom, grandparents or it was just generic with no mention of who has baby.This is a good invention and I could see how it would be able to save some child’s life so I’m happy with the product.I think it’s a great idea and I can’t wait to try it out and possibly gift it to the parents of my grand nephew.
