Mini Zen Garden

Very cute and convenient. I don’t recommend putting this in your purse for travel because the sand will spill. However, my daughters love to play with this on the bed, or at the table while talking on the phone, or just anytime they need to think. It’s an eye catcher because how often do you see mini zen gardens? I would buy again as a gift in the future.

I really love this product and the idea of a portable zen garden. The rocks it came with are really nice. I’m weirdly a rock-stuck up I guess, because I hate ones that feel waxy or overly polished: these aren’t like that at all. They feel and look like natural river stones and are just.. nice. The sand is also a really adorable white-tan natural looking sand that I just love. My only complaint is that the container that they used has small openings where the lid hinge is. Think an Altoids tin. That means sand does fall out pretty often, only a small amount but it kinda sucks and makes it a bit messy. I fixed this by just putting the whole garden into a plastic baggie for transportation. I actually bought two of these; the one with the clear lid and this one. Both leak in the same way, but their both so adorable and I love them. The smaller is perfect size for in a backpack or purse for those stressful days and the larger is perfect (especially with the clear lid) for a cute relatively mess free desk top garden or for a backpack. I decided to keep the clear one in my living room. I have a rug that I wouldn’t want to get full of sand so I like that this has a lid incase it gets knocked over, but I can still see the beautiful designs. The smaller I decided to keep in my anxiety-bag for days that I just need to do something to relieve anxiety. Honestly love both so much, but -1 star for them leaking a bit. Also the only tools/rake it came with is a wooden skewer, it’s pointed on one end and flat on the other. I like it, but I wish it came with a mini rake that had more then one prong. For the price though; definitely worth it!!

IT's roughly the size of an Altoid tin. I knew it was supposed to be small, and that's okay. I have cats and wanted a zen garden and this is the only one I could find with a cover. One of the seller's photos has it standing up, so I thought I could pick it up and take it with me. It does look just like the photo, it's super-cute, but sand spills out the sides. It's far too small to be a home decor item and stay in one place. If I can't take it with me, it's pointless to have one this tiny.

When my work day is going in 6 different direction at once I needed something to clear my mind. This little mini garden works great. I open it up take the stick and start making designs in the sand. And I’m out of the whirlwind and looking at the problems and seeing solutions. It’s small so I don’t waste any time playing. I just close it and I’m back at work. I almost didn’t order it because of the review that said it didn’t look like the picture. Mine looks just like the picture. Look at the dinemsions. It’s small. My coworkers are enjoying it also. They keep dropping by to unwind.

Very small tin black box with some sand, I imagined it larger, I do not know if the seller included dimensions and if they did its my bad call so i don;t blame anyone for the misunderstanding. I suggest that you go put some sand in a small tin and save yourselves the cash. However, my daughter does like it and is enjoying it.

I love it! It is tiny but pure perfection. I took a few stones out and added a tiny crystal and a tiny cat. Perfect
