Perfect size and thickness of rope. Easy to put on and lead dog. Have had for over a year and works just as well as when purchased.

This slip lead is very durable and the leather features are great. We have been using it nearly daily for about a month and a half. We went on a short road trip and it was perfect for the short trips from car to building. We use a harness with clip leash on hikes and long walks, but are working with our boy on being off leash. This slip lead is stylish on our black and white AmStaff boy and it seems more comfortable than other slip leads we've tried. He hasn't had any issues chewing on it and he is a power chewer with a particular taste for leashes. It was appreciated the customer service as well as Friends Forever communicated with me directly.

It is good rope material: strong and slippery enough to use as a slip-leash as long as you are using it on a 45+ lbs dog. It seems like good climbing rope that I'm used to, so I don't expect it to fray. It has held up well for several weeks now.

This leash is very strong and seems to be very durable. It however is kinda stiff right now (I’m sure it will loosen up as it is used). The fabric is very tight which is good for overall durability, but it is not soft. I have other slip leads for my pup and the material is much softer for her. I think it is a valuable purchase for the money, but I’ll probably keep it in my car as a spare in case I see a stray or something.

It surprised me when I felt a bit of a stretch on the leash at the beginning of a walk and at the same time relieved that it does not feel like a hard tug on my harm or hand. I have had it for a while and it still looks and feels as new. The dog likes it and so do we so it's a win, win.

I have a more expensive leash and was looking for another one of those. When I saw the Friends Forever leash I thought I would give it a try!We love it! A very reasonable price, especially compared to the other extremely expensive leash. This leash is easy to use and looks great too. Glad we gave it a chance!

Color true to picture. Not too stiff. Great length. Our dog is 58 pounds. Seems like just the right size and weight for him.

My medium sized do bit through 3 of them in a row inside of 5 seconds or less. Here's where I think the problem lies, when she pulls on the leash, it tightens up to the point where she could bite through it instantly. I think if it had somewhat of a flexible, yet, solid core, this wouldn't happen so easy. Unfortunately, compared to many other leashes, it's still one of the better ones as sad as that is.

I have a young large Bernedoodle and he is easy to control with this leash.

I was silly that I didn't realize the leash didn't have a clip. I must rather a clip as my dog pulls and I wouldn't want him to hurt himself. If this leash is right for you it looked to be great quality but sadly I had to send back.

My young dog managed to chew pretty much through it within the first couple of days because he's a k***head so I got a very limited use out of it, probably a couple of weeks as I waited for an alternative. It's a great lead, thicker than most, with nice leather detail. The rope design seems to impact on my dogs breathing (he's a rottweiler that pulls like a train) so I'm trying out different designs/solutions and decided to go with a flat head collar next. That is in no way comment on the quality of this item and when my other dog's lead needs replacing, I will be ordering one of these
