Ever since I discovered these energy drinks, they have become a part of every morning. I don’t feel that I need to have one, like coffee, or other stimulant type of caffeine drink. I just like the taste, and the way that it energizes and starts my morning. One issue to be aware of of course is the fact that five hour energy does contain niacin. That’s not a bad thing. It’s just important to note that you should not drink the entire bottle all at once, particularly if you have had any type of low blood blood pressure problem in the past, or you are taking medication for blood pressure. The niacin may cause a niacin rush as it is known and this may make you feel a little faint. Some people have actually reported that they drank the entire bottle and then fainted for a moment onto the floor. The bottle itself warns against this and does indicate that you should not drink the entire bottle all at once. For me, I break it up into three parts I take a drink and then perhaps get dressed or take a shower then I drink another third, and perhaps read the daily newspaper or answer email and then by the time I get into the car after about 30 or 40 minutes I drink the final third of the bottle. That is perfect for me no effects no dizziness and I am fully energized for the morning some of the flavors are not real wonderful, so choose the one that you like the best. For me it is the berry. I don’t particularly care for the watermelon.

Way cheaper than buying in the store. It takes some planning to order because they aren’t shipped overnight- but we worth the price

Not much to review. It’s disgusting, but it keeps me functioning so I can be about 25% more human each morning. I appreciate the smallness because of the gross taste, which is why I never get big energy drinks. At least with this I can chug and be done with it. Extra bonus: my dog is obsessed with these bottles. They only last about 15 min each morning but my dog gets as much (if not more) excited each time I get one out of the cabinet because she chews and throws them around (and I take away when crushed because it’s probably a super choking hazard… never leave a dog alone with it). As far as the bottle goes… 5 stars for bounciness and chaseability. 5 stars for helping me function a little more like a human. 5 stars for being small and easily storable… 2 star for taste.
