I just got it
The caps on the back fell off right away, probably need glue. Super inconsequential to it's function, but some people might care. It pulls really smoothly, and I am using it for my dogs, and for my "knees over toes" guy exercises. It comes with a harness for pulling behind you that works real well, no weird pokey points. I have a dog leash with a ring, and two clips for dog collars. I just put that around, clip it to the ring and start walking backwards.I am using this on a field of sand and weeds. It is not smooth, as gophers infest it. This hasn't been an issue with 25 pounds on it. Slides right over, bobbling along nicely. I am very happy with this sled. It is perfect so far.I don't know about durability, I have used it three times so far. I am dragging it on sand, so I doubt I will wear a hole in it, the pipes used for the sled are fairly thick.

Works well
My son appreciates the flexibility of using this sled on its own or adding weight.

Bought for ACFT, needed to be modified.
I bought these for my platoon to practice the ACFT. I was looking for an alternative to the nylon fabric ones that seem overpriced to me ($100+). When they arrived I was happy with them because they appeared to be very sturdy, however after their first use during PRT it became clear to me that they would not last long. The sled part that is in contact with the ground eroded much quicker than I anticipated. Easy fix, I went to Home Depot and bought two pieces of 1 in wide steel sheets, cut them to length, bent the front upwards and bolted them to the bottom of the sled to re-enforce their survivability for extended use. It also makes them harder to pull because of the extra surface area in contact with the ground, so that’s a plus. Overall, worth the buy for my particular use. Just needed to be modified.

Great Little Sled
Great little sled. We bought this for our 13 yr old. I ended up adding some PVC skiis to the bottom so he can pull it on the road. It was just grinding against the road & was difficult to pull & maneuver on the pavement without the skiis.I bought a small section of 3" black ABS /PVC pipe. I cut it in half & attached it to the bottom of the sled with an epoxy glue for plastic & metal and weighted it down while it dried. I waited a full day for it to cure. The skiis work great, so great that he had to add more weights to the sled.

Sturdy/well worth the $$
This sled works great ! I have used several, and this one as perfect for a home gym. Holds more weight than even Arnold would need, and my legs showed some growth in less than a month using it 2-3 times a week.

Meets the need
I don't use the sled with the post. I stacked sandbags on the sled and then used a strap across the center beam to hold them in place. All in all, it is not a bad product but...As has been noted in other reviews, the actual points that make contact with the ground are the worst part of the product. The coating they used is either cheap or cheaply applied -- possibly both. I used my sled with 100lbs on it, it was dragged across moderately lush yard grass and dried fall leaves. This was still enough to rub the sled's skids clean of any coating in 4 days. I corrected this by scoring the metal then applying some generic brand of truck bed liner. If you plan to use it on rocks/gravel, may want to consider another reviewer's method of adding another layer to the skids.
