Q: What's the maximum length this will run on a single power unit? Want to add around my kitchen base and wall.

The base unit is 2m and then each extension adds another 1m. You can add up to 8 extensions to give a total length of 10m (33 feet)

Q: Does It come with a plug or not?

The Philips Hue Lightstrip starter kit comes with a plug. The extension Lightstrip does not. It plugs into one end of the basic 2m Lightstrip, extending it by a further 1m.

Q: if i need 2 lightstrips, lets say 240cm and 260cm, can i buy 2x 2m lighstrips + 1x 1m extension kit, and split it to 60cm and 40cm?

Not without soldering, no. The start of the Extension kit has 6 pins to connect to the existing 2m strip. If you cut the strip at 60cm, there will be no pins on the remaining 40cm you just cut off. But you could solder the remaining 40cm to the other 2m lightstrip.

Q: Will it work with the new v4 2m kit?

Will what work? If you mean connecting v3 & v4 then yes i think it does but it might be a mismatch with colour fluidity, splicing too much will result in duller LED brightness. Hope this helps Calum
