Spider-Man: Fake Red

Arrived early and in great condition. Highly recommend reading this if you're a fan of Spider-Man and like great art! The story does well introducing new characters and including well known ones.

The artwork is great and the story is solid. The characters are ones any reader any relate to. I like the fact the story portrays the main characters (Spider-man/Peter Parker and Yu/ Fake Spider-man) as humans who are not perfect, makes mistakes but ultimately step up and take action when they are needed. This is a must have for any Spider-man fan or anyone who is new to the Spidey-verse! Note: There is a character towards the end that admits they had feelings for the same sex. It is a very small part of the story and doesn't take away from the story.

Visually, for starters, the art style is just incredible! Now for the story. I had no idea what to expect or what the title was implying. No spoilers, but this story is really fun and unique. This brings an interesting take to characters we already know and introduce us to a few new ones. I loved this book so much and I hope it does well so that we can potentially get more. (Even though where it ended was a nice little wrap up. I’m just greedy…) Get on it Marvel!!! And the biggest kudos to Yusuke Osawa and his team.

First of all I just want to say that you may not want to order this from Amazon if you care about the condition of the book, I received mine in paper packaging and the front cover was slightly bent. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I really enjoyed the story, this was a great interpretation of " Anyone can be Spider-Man " and what it means to be a hero. The story has a satisfying ending where I'm content if there is no more after this but I do hope the story continues and really hope that Yu and Emma show up again since we only see the beginning of their friendship. Overall really loved it, will read it multiple times and I hope there will be more!

I’m not a huge manga reader. I have nothing against the medium but I just never got into them. I read this and really liked it! The artwork is dynamic and the story is fun! Only thing holding it back for me is the poor pacing at certain points!

Since this was the first manga i’ve ever read, It was amazing! Definitely recommend this to any spidey fans and manga readers.

What else can I say except it is an amazing manga? The story has some fun and new characters while also staying true to what Spider-Man is. Some parts of the story felt a little rushed but that is because the series was going to be cancelled so the author has to tie up all loose ends. I would definitely recommend this manga to read!

Probably the very best new Spider-Man comic (or manga, in this case.) I've read in a long time. Yusuke Osawa's artwork is gorgeous to look at, and the story, even though the title was unfortunately prematurely cancelled, really had a lot going for it. Yu is a shockingly good protagonist, and him basically being passed the torch after Peter Parker hasn't been seen in a while (Minor spoilers: He does come back, but not in the way you'd immediately expect.), is fascinating since unlike Pete, Yu doesn't have any superpowers...just the suit and gear. In short, I'd highly recommend this to any Spidey fan.

It's absolutely awesome. This book is great. I love it, I love the way Peter Parker/Spider-man was written, and Yu/Spider-man was written. This is a Prime example that Peter/Spider-man is a great character and not a loser or a joke he is portrayed to be in the current main Spider-man book. Yu is a loaner teenager struggling with life and high school. He has never thought of himself as a hero until he finds Spider-man's costume and Spider-man is missing. With the city in need and Spider-man suit and a pair of webshooters, what can Yu do? Also, what has happened to the real Spider-man? It is a great story with excellent artwork. Love the cameos of the other characters, great Easter eggs. Also, great action. It is great seeing Spider-man punch, kick as well as a webshoot, and win. Too many times, especially recently, writers forget that Spider-man has incredible strength and instincts and is an experienced fighter. I am glad all were remembered here. The book finishes with a varient cover gallery and Easter egg glossary. I would love to see much more of this series to come.

Es una historia original e interesante. Es una lástima que la serie se cancelara. Pero sigue siendo igualmente un tomo muy recomendable.
