Cheaper way than removing & regrouting
This unibond 7ml grout pen is a great product & certainly revives things well to nice & crisp white. Told that it is easy to apply & that you can be more precise with it being pen & that there is no need to press too firmly & that it quickly dries within 60 minutes. & a tip the nip needs to depressed quiet a few times until the product flows you can think this isn’t working got a dud it just takes a while to come through. & when the nib frays pull it out & use the other end. & that a good thing is if any mishaps or have applied too much you can simply remove it with a damp cloth. This grout pen is great to restore discoloured grout & revive dull areas. Ours is used around the toilet because it goes off white quickly & odd tiles the white grout, a great product that saves you money & the need of replacing the grout in e.g bathroom/kitchen & so on.

UniBond Grout Reviver Pen – A Convenient Quick Fix, but Not a Permanent Solution
The UniBond Grout Reviver Pen is a simple and easy-to-use product designed to refresh discolored grout, giving tiled surfaces a cleaner and brighter look. While it’s a handy tool for minor touch-ups, it may not be a long-term solution for heavily stained or deteriorated grout.Pros:✅ Quick and Easy Application – The pen-style design makes it convenient to apply without the mess of traditional grout.✅ Instant Brightening Effect – Works well on lightly stained or faded grout, providing a whiter and fresher appearance.✅ No Strong Odor – Unlike some grout paints or sealers, this pen has minimal odor, making it more pleasant to use indoors.Cons:❌ Not Ideal for Deep Stains or Heavy Wear – While effective for surface-level discoloration, it may not fully cover deeper stains or fix cracked/damaged grout.❌ May Require Multiple Coats – Depending on the grout’s condition, more than one application may be needed for an even finish.❌ Durability Varies – The effect is not long-lasting in high-moisture areas like showers, where it can fade over time.Verdict: A Handy Touch-Up Tool, but Not a Permanent FixThe UniBond Grout Reviver Pen is a useful, budget-friendly option for quickly refreshing grout in kitchens and bathrooms. However, for deep stains, worn-out grout, or long-term results, re-grouting or using a more durable grout paint might be a better choice.⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) – Good for quick fixes, but not a lasting solution for heavily stained grout.

Buy with caution (split nib)
Waste of money within 10 mins of using this the nib split and separated , turned it over managed to swap ends but then the nib went in and now can’t use it . Don’t waste your money !!

A little and often, not to be rushed
I read with interest the negative reviews for this item, and so went to work with an open mind. The pen is not a miracle worker, the paint is very thin but I suspect this is so it is absorbed by the grout. The further consequence of that is that the felt nib dries frequently. With that in mind I found that gentle application, frequent shaking of the pen and "dobbing" on a rag kept the paint flowing. Depending on the level of grout discolouration will dictate how many repeat applications are required. I also found holding the pen at an angle above the horizontal helped the paint flow too. Not a job to tackle in a hurry, rather a little and often with a mug of tea in one hand and gentle application of pen with the other. I mixed this job with others and found I achieved a good effect in bathroom and kitchen.
