Large capacity, good build quality!
I bought this to keep my various electronic gadgets (phone, camera, ipod etc) going on various camping trips I have planned over the summer, where I'll be without electricity for a fair amount of time. Suffice to say, I'm very pleased with what I received. Price when reviewed: £23.CAPACITY and CHARGINGThe main feature that stands out with this product is its capacity. At 20000mAhs, its enough to fully charge most smart phones at least half a dozen times, if not more, which is far more than other battery packs I could find for a similar price (£23). When I tried it myself, I was able to charge my power hungry Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini every day for well over a week, so I'm confident that it won't run out whilst I'm out camping. Devices charged from this do so surprisingly quickly, in some cases just as fast as when I was charging from the mains (their fast charging technology (PowerIQ) obviously does the trick)! The device itself however takes about 10 hours to charge via USB using a standard microUSB to USB cable (which is supplied), which admittedly is quite a while, but worth it considering how much charge this product can hold. A series of four blue LEDs show how 'full' the charger is, and can be activated by pressing a button on the side of the product. These are permanently on when charging however, which can be distracting if charging devices when trying to get to sleep as they are quite bright!BUILD QUALITYThis charger has a really good build quality, and feels very solid and sturdy, far from the cheap plasticy feel than other battery packs at around this price range. I'm very glad about this as, due to their portable nature, is likely to get bashed around quite a bit, so having a strong device like this is very important. Furthermore, being from a reputable brand like Anker, you know the electronics will be of good quality, and very unlikely to fail and catch fire, which some cheap chargers have a habit of doing! It is quite bulky however and a tad on the heavy side (at 350g), though this is to be expected for a large capacity model.EXTRASAlong with the device itself, the product came with a neat drawstring fabric bag to hold it in (see picture attached - useful for when going on long journeys as you can store all your charging cables in this), along with a microUSB to USB cable which can be used to charge the device itself, or charge compatible devices from the battery pack.Overall a very good product, especially at the price I got it for £23: Would highly recommend.

Legendary Anker product and service!
I’ve been a fan of Anker products for a while now and they’re my first choice brand. Excellent quality products and value for money and backed up with first class after service for peace of mind. Simple yet robust. It charges my devices quickly and is more than enough for me to use out and about for a number of days. I don’t stress out anymore with this by my side. It’s not the fastest in charging up but understand it’s better for product longetivity. Fine by me and just plug it in overnight and good to go by AM. What sets Anker apart is the after service if anything goes wrong. I’ve seen it reported by other people and I got to experience it recently. I had found the micro USB connection for power input always a tad loose from the beginning. I let it go as I could get by. Then it reached a point where it was difficult getting a secure connection. I sent Anker an email with a description of the problem. Initially I asked for just a new cable because a different cable did help make it better and I didn’t want to get into a bun fight. Anker asked me a few questions to ascertain root cause and concluded the port was faulty and sent me out a brand new powerbank very quickly! Wow! Am very impressed. A company that didn’t just do the bare minimum but wanted my compete satisfaction. You’ve certainly got that. Well done and thanks again Anker!Update:7 June 2019I bought the original back in July 2018. A replacement as per above was sent to me due to Micro USB port being faulty.Gave great service and the unfortunately the replacement developed a fault when whilst charging it would stop after a few minutes.Contact led Anker and again they responded quickly and sent me out a new one with no quibble and very quickly. They were naturally disappointed that I had to contact them again and I accept that it is rare occurrence.Very happy with the after service of this company and they’ve come through for me again.
