Perfect
Nice minimalistic design, secures incredibly well into the door frame, good grip, easy to set up or take down

Good, sturdy and easy to install.
Fits in my doorframe without too much hassle and it seems sturdy enough for frequent use. I would recommend if you're ~70kg or below. I would not recommend using it on the doorframe if you're heavier.

Use different screws!
The screws aren’t great, they’re made of soft metal. One of mine shredded so use better quality ones. Other that that this is great

Each time she grabbed the bar it would twist a little
The media could not be loaded. Its a chinup bar - what could go wrong! I've had chinup bars all my life, my son has one in his doorway and now my daughter wanted one because he doesn't like her using his all the time...On the face of it this is exactly what i needed, it has the usual screw in door cups to securely hold the bar in place without any fear of the bar falling. It is very adjustable to fit most doorways, and it even has some nice padded grips.Installation was quick and easy as usual - just pop a few screws in each pressure plate/cup thingy and then screw the bar out until it firmly pushes into each side. The grips were soon removed - too bulky for my daughter. No problem, just cut them off. There is an annoying screw in the middle of the bar... the instructions make no mention of it at all (i.e. it has no purpose to the user), but there it is, sticking out getting in the way if you want to sue the middle of the bar. Not a major issue, but annoying, my other bars don't have this. After a few days I saw my daughter using the other bar again - why? Each time she grabbed the bar it would twist a little. I tightened everything up as much as possible, but it persisted. Annoyed - I decided to take it apart to see what the issue might be, this is where we find out what that screw was for! The bar is actually made of three main sections (my others are just two), a central bar (the one with the screw in) and two narrower bars which glide along a long internal screw. So when you expand this bar you get equal expansion on both sides allowing the central thicker bar to stay centered. A neat idea really. The problem is that the thicker bar is secured onto the threaded internal bar by that screw.... the screw enters into a small cylinder which sits permanently attached to the screw bar (see photo). The poor manufacturing means that the tolerances are really bad and this attachment has a lot of play in it which you cannot stop. (see video). I am about to fill the area with epoxy glue to see if that can fix the bar, unfortunately it will still have the screw in place even if this does work.In summary - if you are only going to use this for simple chin-ups, then it will do the job. If you plan to use any other part of the bar other than where the padded grips are, and like to use any dynamic movement then you might want to choose something else. For me, the build quality can't be ignored, a recessed central screw could have been used and the tolerances shouldn't be so shoddy.

Quality of product
This is actually a decent product which my children have enjoyed for just over a year. However the build of it has let me down as the screw has slipped off/broken.Would have hoped for a longer lasting bar.Unsure if I can replace the middle screw.
