Waste of money.
This product does not work please do not waste your money. It absolutely stinks when taken out of the packaging. Put in the garden and my puppy just tried to dig it up. Never once did he wee against it.

Worked for my 6yr old rescue dog
I was skeptical about buying the pee post due to some poor reviews. However, as my new 6yr old rescue dog was refusing to toilet in the garden I was willing to try anything & at £8.99 it was worth a go.The post stank, so I was careful to put the packaging straight outside in the recycling - then washed my hands after putting the post in the garden. I’m not kidding, my little JR cross sniffed the post then had a wee on the grass next to the pee post!Since then, she’s been using the garden and will either pee near the post, then poo elsewhere on the grass, or vice versa, I don’t care! She’s now doing her business in the back garden, which means I’m not in my PJs in the field near my house at 10.30 pm, or 7 am, for wees/poos….and she’s been with us a week. Little superstar!I’m also giving her a treat after going in the garden & I’m saying the trigger/command “going out for wee wee” in an excited voice when we head towards the back door. I think the combination, with the per post, has really helped.

Didn't work for us
Dog shows no interest in using this pee post despite a lot of effort from us. Maybe we were just unlucky.

Our dog didn't take to it.
One of the review star options is for "flavour" I declined to mark this section having decided not to lick something that was designed to be urinated on.Purchased on recommendation from a friend who said it was very good for their dogs. Unfortunately my puppy didn't give a hoot about it and it didn't work as advertised. This could be just as likely down to my dog as the product. For the price it's worth a punt I suppose, it unfortunately didn't work for us.

Does not work
Easy to pop into the ground. All my dogs have done is chew it! Does not attract them to pee near or on it at all! Waste of money!

Doesn’t work
Dog not interested at all. He sniffed it and moved swiftly on despite my coaxing. Total waste of money.I might add this is a toilet trained dog that won’t go in our garden. Could work with pups

Worth a try!
I read mixed reviews before purchasing, but decided I would give it a chance, as it wasn’t expensive.I placed my WCS puppy next to it, whilst wearing a harness and lead and encouraged him to sniff it. (Make sure you get your pup to sniff a few times and return them to the post on the first try until they’ve been to the toilet.)He moved not far away and relived himself. It’s not directly on the post, but very near to and I’m more than happy with that! We’ve had him 3 days now and no accidents of any kind in the house. (No mess in his crate over night either!)So in my personal experience, I would recommend this product. :)

100% works with training!
After reading so many negative reviews I still bought this, and worked day1 on my boys who only ever peed on walks and I needed to train them to go for a quick one locally when I need to pop out or just before bed. I spent a week saying “wee wees” every time one weed before the post, then introduced the post last thing at night before the last walk and said the magic words. Dog 1 peed instantly in the area. This morning both dogs weed in the area by the post before going on their walk and have been since. I think if you are relying on scent alone, you may have set expectation a little high for a wee smelling yellow stake, but with simple training I am over joyed I can now focus on getting them to behave on walks rather than worrying they haven’t peed before bed and I will be waking up to accidents (my 2 are 2 year old rescue dogs collie x breeds)
