I bought this to start my daughter's collection after she showed an interest in gemstones and where they come from. There is a nice selection here with some decent sized stones. There was enough variety and my daughter is very happy with them. There is a little card on the back of one of the boxes showing pictures of some of the stones you may find. If you want to be able to identify all the stones however, you will need to use a book. I bought the Everything Rocks and Minerals book, but although this is a good reference book in relation to how things are created and what happens to them, it's not really useful for identifying your gems. Would definitely recommend these stones. I liked them and my almost 7 year is very happy!

Lovely crystals and came quite quick. But when I was cleansing the crystals one of them ( picture 2)S dye rubbed onto my finger and the sue seems rather strange sue the the small vinegar smell off it. That tells me that it has been treated but for the rest of them, they seem to be great :). The rock box consisted of mainly dyed Quarts, the Gemstone box was great though. Also came with a lot of rocks for the price.

Details of the sizes of rocks and gems included would be helpful. There were some small ones and others that were very small ones. I want to give them to people and so would have prepared to know the sizes. The actual boxes are very small but the images on Amazon do not convey this.

My Son gave me money for Christmas and this is what I spent it on to start my collection. My 6 year old Daughter had fun helping me get all the stones and rocks out of there packaging to have a look at, received some nice alright size stones, lots of tiny stones in the boxes though, I took the rocks and gems out and put the ones I wanted to keep in with my other gems, very pretty and great to begin collecting with.

A nice set , though a couple of stones are spray-painted. On instance, I’ve received an unnaturally gold pyrite and a bright pink (supposed) piece of quartz geode… with sparks. The stones are mostly small in size but they still give a good understanding of what each mineral looks like, in general. Overall, I’m contented with my purchase.

Arrivato con un giorno di ritardo, ma giustificabile in tempi covid. Piccoline le gemme (non tutte!), anche se me l'aspettavo (ho già acquistato articoli di questo genere). Utilizzate per laboratori di mineralogia con i bambini delle scuole dell'infanzia e primaria, rispettano le mie aspettative e soddisfano le curiosità dei bambini. Pietre tutte vere tranne un tipo che mi riserva qualche dubbio: di colore blu, osservata allo stereomicroscopio appaiono delle macchioline non omogenee, come se fosse stata colorata artificialmente

sono due scatolete molto piccole ma piene di pietre e gemme. Io non me ne intendo di minerali ma quello che ho visto è che ci sono tanti tanti pezzi piccolisimi. Un bel po di belle pietre e gemme. Molte ripetute. Avrei preferito non avere le pietre/gemme piccolissime (quasi sabbia).

alcune pietre sono molto piccole ma nel complesso i 2 cofanetti sono carini.
