Worth the money
Must higher quality than the original Ender 3 v1. A little quieter and much higher print quality. Simple installation and has been perfect so far.

Great for an all in one kit
This is great for an all-in-one direct-drive/ high temperature hotend. The wiring is a bit tedious but the wires that were used and the board is marked and I took a lot of pictures before and during disassembly. I had to replace my board because it was covered in a healthy amount of celastic/ hot glue for vibration mitigation and i accidentally broke a capacitor off of it. The mechanical part of this upgrade was fairly straightforward. I upgraded to MRISCOC professional firmware, which I recommend as well, to be able to print at higher temperatures. You will need a good set of metric hex keys and a compact screwdriver set to do this upgrade.

Direct drive fear no more!
So happy to have made the leap from a bowden tube to direct drive for my Creality 3. I was concerned about the weight causing print issues but just did not have a problem. Once you mount it, the wiring is not as hard as I thought it would be, you just need to do a quick search ono youtube and you can find some very simple videos to follow. One tip is that you MUST set your esteps over again to calibrate the drive to the new lack of tube and the slack that it could cause in your feed. I feel that the nozzle heats up quicker and stays more consistent without any clumps showing up but maybe that is just me wanting the best. I have not had a clog yet but I hear if you do it can be a bit more work to get it cleared. Knock on wood I won't have to find out. I have had the bowden tube slip out of the collar once and this is another advantage of a direct drive unit. I don't normally print large, hours over hour printing so the collar slipping was not a huge deal but it did ruin my print and I would worry if it was running for a day or so and the tube slipped how upset I would be. Happy I bought the drive, loving it so far!

Devil is in the details
This a rarity in 3d printing an all in one direct drive extrusion kit... this alone makes it worth the click. But like the hemera its a big girl using a nema 17 stepper motor. This feature makes high speed printing a distant dream. But what it loses in speed it gains in up time. The all metal hot end combined with the direct drive setup makes clearing clogs a breeze. Just raise the temperature above the normal and extrude out the clogged material. Install is a breeze, but the setup for klipper or marlin will require estep calibration my rotation_distance change was 7.421150278293136. This was perfect for my 50mm klipper calibration requirements. X and Y offsets will also need to top be adjusted so hit the books on those because each setup is too different to recommend. Retract is the most important to take note of i run .5 as my normal with dynamic settings to eliminate layer shifts. I rarely run standard because of the inconsistent results. Solid buy if you do not wish to print the mounts for you extruder and fan for you 3d printer upgrade.

I can now print anything.
This extruder has made all the difference on my ender 3. Make sure you get online and copy the offsets or values for it.

Would not recommend this to upgrade a ender 3 pro
The direct drive was cool, but it seems to have a problem with stringing and when I pluged the cr touch to the extruder it would get power but it wouldn't work right, I had to use a different cord and plug it directly into the motherboard, I would not recommend this to upgrade a ender 3 pro.

Cool upgrade
Adds a ton of functionality to your ender 3! Came new in box no damage. Remeber to change your probe Y offset so your cr/bl touch works!
