I've bought this jar for my lovely foodie partner for Christmas, gahhh! I said the 'C word' and it's only October!It is a lovely little thing indeed. It's the size of a standard jam jar which is approx 5 inches high by 3 inches wide so you should get around 400g of produce in it. It's been acid etched by the looks of it with the words 'MADE WITH LOVE' through the middle (like a label) and at the bottom it says 'home made' and has a nice pattern on it too! The silver metal screw on lid fastens down nice and tightly so no fear of spillages/contamination.I'm going to make Nigella's Sweet Chilli Jam to fill this and give to my beloved as a little surprise to have with her cold meats over the holidays. To be honest you could have it on chips, meat, fish, pies, sandwiches or anything you like!It will definitely be made with love and it couldn't be presented in anything better than this with a nice red ribbon around it. I really liked these jars. I purchased them to make homemade gifts at Christmas and was pleasantly surprised. They are fantastic quality, definitely not cheap. The recipient was over the moon with my gift. Absolutely reccomend these to anyone.

Slightly small and very easily broken as it’s very thin glass so be careful with how it’s treated

Twee jar but next time I’ll grab an old jam jar and A transfer sticker and make my own.
