DOTTIE'S DELIGHT. This, like all Haynes books, has far more detail than I will ever be able to use when I work on Dottie Dodge Durango, my 1999 treasure. I wanted to know where a couple of things connected on the undercarriage, and this told me clearly in words and pictures. That alone was worth the investment. In general I love Haynes books. but note: This is not a teaching primer! If you know something about cars, this will help you with detailed instructions in word and image. If you are a beginner, it can get you off on the right foot. But if you are averse to grease under the fingernails and have never had a busted knuckle, you ought to look at a different hobby. For a carguy or a cargal, you can't beat Haynes books.For your own Dottie Dodge Durango or pickup, this will suit you well. Enjoy.

The Repair book saved me money by being able to repair my own car instead of taking it to the shop. I purchased the repair book at Amazon to save even more money. The repair manual was easy to find most needed information. The book showed repairs that the average person could perform at home, it also showed when you needed to take it to the shop. Even when you were unable to repair it yourself at least you had a better idea of what and how a shop would repair it. This book is for the do it your self type of persons who are not afraid of getting dirty with time to spend repairing automobiles. Buy this book It will help you even if you have to take it to the shop.

We collect these, all the time need some spec or diagram and usually it's in there, sometimes run into a missing spec but over all good manuals. Unfortunately was told it's all going to pdf, maybe most folks have pc's in their shop but we don't in our view it's a bad idea, rather have a paper book in front of us than trying not to drop a laptop!

I bought this maybe 8 or 9 years ago when I decided to do more of my own vehicle maintenance and have been pleased with the purchase. This was for my 1997 Dodge Dakota (that I still own and runs great!) and In many cases, it has helped me decide if I could do the work myself or if I needed to take it in to a mechanic.In my opinion, Haynes Manuals are a great source of information and I try to buy one each vehicle I own. I highly recommend them.Just FYI, you can also get a lot of great car related info on YouTube. 1AAUTO has several Dakota/Durango vids, Eric The Car Guy is great and there are many others.

Like most of these type manuals they always seem to concentrate on something other than what your after. The book as a whole was helpful. I knew that going in however, The price was what sold me. I'll get a lot of use out of it.
