Anyone know of another way to light it without a saw? Eventually I'll own the Huntsman but the Explorer lacks the saw.

All you need is a good sharp 90 degree edge to scrape slivers of ferocium off a rod to create sparks. Carbon steel works best.

I do not believe so, but the product fits perfectly with the victorinox knives! And it works well for what it is!

How long does each kindling burn?

I'm not one for whipping out a stopwatch and going viral etc. I will say this...if you are in dire straights, has potential to burn long enough to get you out. If y'all just want a cup of coffee, break some off (fluff it up) and use sparingly. You tube Jon gadget and his take on these. G'luck, stay safe & never stop learning!
