Scooter Performance Exhaust With Stainless Steel Muffler 50cc

Shipping was on par and the new sound of the scooter is pretty much perfect. With the silencer that twists into the end of the pipe you can choose a deeper note or a little more refined sounding less deep tone with the silencer in. I took off a star because the silencer either worked its way out over time or somebody nicked it while The scooter was parked. I didn't need to modify the hangers at all the pipe just bolted up to the same mounts as the stock pipe. Wish I still had the silencer I preferred that exhaust note. The sound at idle isn't very loud and I like that. I can't say if this gave me any more power because I installed a big bore kit at about the same time. Installation was a snap after I figgured out a trick to keep the gasket in place while I bolted the pipe down ( the trick I came up with was to use hot glue to hold the gasket to the pipe while I bolted everything into place and the hot glue melted away after I started the scoot for the first time)The pipe has started to turn blue where the heat is highest I like it now but if that leads to rust I'm going to paint it black with high temp paint.

Im giving 5stars becuase so far its 100% what it said it would be and matched pics. Must bad reviews are from people that did not read all info that do not know how to work on bikes etc. I seen 1 bad review cause it had some scratches on a part that would have been covered with a gasket really took stars away for that. Its a $50 kit you get the best off the bottom shelf for $50 you want better than spend more! Now as i said it is what i thought it would be what they said it would be. Sadly the header pipe does not blot on since i have a scooter trike it has a wide frame i am hoping to bend the header to get it to fit (as listed in description of the item that i may have to bend or mod it to fit right.) But even if it does not fit i still give 5 stars cuase AGAIN it was 100% what item description said it would be. Ill update if i get it on. Or how the return went and or how the seller helped.. Recieved the product in the mail today. I have a 2020 50cc Dong Fang Express. Taking the stock exhaust off was extremely simple as was installing this exhaust system. Took it for a short test drive (roughly 5 to 10 miles) and was very pleased. Definently much louder than the stock exhaust. If I had to compare it to anything sound wise it would be that of a four wheeler. After almost a week of riding my moped daily the silencer fell out along the way. Not sure when it happened but I noticed the exhaust was MUCH louder than normal while going under a bridge. Even though it sounded great with the silencer I honestly like the current sound without it. I read a review of someone else having the same silencer issue as well.

This is one muffler tail pipe combo that I had actually fell in love with up until today (April 4th 2022). Though this thing gave me trouble from the very beginning with the screws constantly coming lose, I still loved it and just retighten the screws until I was forced to use JB Weld on two that had stripped the holes out. Today I had my biggest problem with it after hearing a very loud noise only to find the muffler had broke lose from the factory Weld. I really wanted to like this product but not like this. With all of this said, buyers please beware of this product. I had to finish riding my bike like it was because I was too far out to push it.

It sounds much better than stock. You might have to adjust the brackets, i cut them off and rewelded them to fit my gy6 shortcase engine.

Got this because my stock exhaust sheared at the muffler. At the same time, I purchased an 82cc big bore. This exhaust arrived first, and when I attempted to install, I sheared the stockexhaust bolt (too tight, my error)After big bore arrived, I put it all together and used this exhaust. I am happy. Sounds like a much bigger bike than 82cc. Is deep and loud. Has some back-fires and pops on over-run. But that could be tuning. It spits flames and sounds awesome. Probably wont tune any differently because I like that

Just installed it but initial impressions are good. Fitment is a little tricky, but that's to be expected. I was able to reuse the bracket from my existing GY6 muffler on my chuckus. Sound is very good and it's definitely a performance exhaust. For the price I was worried it was just a cheap factory replacement, but this exhaust is straight-through, with a removable silencer. The finish on the metal is good and overall the product looks good.

Purchased on November 12th 2020 and today february 27th 2021 it snapped at the weld also only one screw would stay on other two kept loosening had to retighten every day after every trip
