Great watch, well build, cheap, easy to read light weight and reliable
This was a genuine Casio. It is easy to read, very light and reliable and is extremenly good value for money. It is no suitbale for underwater swimming - but then who, apart from divers, what to tell the time underwater. The only deficiency, in my opinion is the lack of a low battery indicatior. When the battery is "end of life" the watch will simply just stop. Granted the battery may last for 3 years, but if you want reliablity, I would suggest that you will need to change the battery at least every 2 years.

Good no-thrills watch at a very good price
I've had this watch for just over a week and so far it has kept very good time. I've compared it to a radio controlled clock and in that time it has only gained about two seconds so I expect it to be only around 30 seconds out each time I have to change it from GMT to BST and back again twice a year. The watch is very neat, reasonably slim and the strap is more than long enough. The dial is particularly clear, is a good size and doesn't have any distracting embellishments or fancy functions so is very easy to read at a glance. It is also very light and has a classy and minimalist design. It's too soon to say how long it will last but I'll be happy if it only lasts 12 months though I expect it will last much longer than that however I would not be surprised if it costs more to replace the battery than the price of the watch.I delayed buying one as some reviews claimed that the strap was not long enough but I don't consider my wrists to be on the small size and the strap would go up another 3 notches. At £6 it is brilliant value for money and I wish I'd bought one sooner. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good watch which simply tells the time.If they made them in different colours for the same price I'd buy more than one.

Ideal for everyday wear
The digital divers watch that I had worn for nearly thirty years finally expired this year and I needed a cheap replacement until I selected another to wear when sailing. As with many older persons I do have an issue with most digital watches as I need to be wearing my reading glasses to read the display. I picked this little Casio because it is neat, nylon and perfectly clear, no frills and water resistant. It keeps perfect time, and has already been frequently emersed in sea water without harm. Certainly it is no fashion item and in retrospect I would probably have choosen a watch with a day/date feature, however it has certainly prompted me to look for an analogue watch when buying a new clamshell. In short, it tells the time, I can read it without spectacles, even in poor light and is good value for money. What more do you really need from an everyday timepiece.

Nice little chaep watch !
Firstly, this is a cheap watch, it is no Omega, but for functionality it is a real bargain. My wife wanted a durable watch for work, something that was easy to see and read, and the first thing she said to me is "I want a watch with 12 numbers on it and mites shown too" - well try and find one, as these two things seem to be out of fashion now, but like her I also think they are essential in a watch, having to 'guess' minutes is a nightmare, especially of someone asks you the time and you say well it is 12 minutes or maybe 13 minutes past one !She says the strap is easy to fasten and very comfortable to wear, and of course black markings on a white background couldn't be better. It proved to be quite accurate too, gaining about 1 minute every 2 months or so.Yes, we both have expensive "smart watches" but you just wouldn't want to wear them to work for fear of scratching or loosing them. Now the downside, well there would be one for a watch at this price. This is the second one of these watches she has had, the previous one lasted 19 months, then the battery went flat, and for starters the case was difficult to open up and then getting the battery out actually broke the battery contacts, even though I took great care.So yes, buy this watch it is good value, but when the battery goes, (to get it replaced professionally could cost the price of a new watch anyway, we were quoted £5) just 'bin it' and buy a new one like I did !It still gets 5 stars though as the last one cost £0.37 a MONTH over the 18 months it worked !

Super cheap, classic watch for small wrists. Good for kids.
I am a big watch lover. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to collect a handful of beautiful swiss-made timepieces. I've now started to buy and review some of the most popular, most affordable (under £20) watches on Amazon.I'd like to share with you my personal thoughts on the 'Casio Unisex Quartz Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Black Resin Strap MQ24/7B'.DELIVERYGood. The watch was delivered within a week.PACKAGINGGood. The box and its content arrived in perfect condition.CONTENTThe following items were included in the box: the watch and a couple of small leaflets. Please note that the face and the back of the watch both come with a removable protective plastic layer.DESIGNIf, just like me, you are used to substantial watches, you will find the watch very very light and thin. The case measures roughly 1.2 inches / 3 centimers, and you will find only one actionable button on the right handside. The watch looks extermely small, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with larger wrists. The strap is made of plastic: it's both very thin and surprisingly comfortable, even after a long day.Once again, Casio demonstrates how experienced the company is to produce high volumes of very well-made, well-priced entry-level watches.FEATURES- time (that's pretty much it)- water resistance (10m)- manufacturer warranty (2 years)CONCLUSIONThis is a very good buy for anyone with very small wrists looking for a well-buit, durable and simple watch with one purpose only: telling the time. My wife, who doesn't wear a watch, tried it and found it very cute. Personally, I have rather small wrists and it looked far too small on me for my liking. I ended up offering it to my godson who is wearing it all the time, even during his swimming lessons. :-)-I hope you will find my review and my photo coverage helpful-TIP- keep a close look on the pricing which can vary quite a bit: I bought this Casio watch for £5.72 (on Amazon Prime), today it's available for £6.95

Love it!
This watch is exactly what i wanted - a functioning wrist watch that costs next to nothing yet doesn't look tacky. It's simplicity is what makes it great; a plain black strap and a basic black and white face. It doesn't make any of the pathetic attempts to look stylish like the rest of the 'budget' watches on amazon, it is simply a watch.I've been wearing it for the last 2 weeks and i've had no problems at all - it's comfortable on the wrist (the strap has about 12 holes so you wont struggle to get it to the right size), the strap is fairly thin and flexible so it doesnt stick out awkwardly etc etc.I believe it's a unisex watch, so some men may find that the face it smaller than they expect, i'd say its just over halfway between the standard womens size and the standard mens size for a watch face. Its not noticably small though. All in all i can say that it's a great watch and i'd recommend it to anyone - even if you already have a nicer one and just want a reliable spare.

The most honest watch of all
Most watches are markers of status. Whether they are made of gold, platinum or silver, or have a strap made of alligator skin, or a chronograph, or an array of formula one racer functions, they are prosthetic phallus extensions, which the honest man disdains. This watch is different. It exudes honesty. It is made of cheap black plastic resin. It tells the time. That is all. Not a frill in sight. Its only notable features are "quartz" and, even more impressively, "water resist". Not "water resistant" mind, but "water resist". Which is to say that like all physical materials - technically, including even the sponge - it, to some extent, repels water. But submerge it in your washbasin at a depth of one centimetre and it will be finished. I am not a scuba-diver, nor are you, so this is not a problem. It is the first watch I have ever owned that I do not occasionally catch myself looking at admiringly, thinking, "my, what a marvellous piece of craftsmanship, don't I look the gent with this fine accessory attached to my wrist!" This is a good thing. Honesty is a good thing. A philosopher might interject, "but you are fetishising its 'honesty'; this is as much a form of dishonesty as any other, it is a perverse masochistic kind of anti-status status that you covet, after all! Hypocrite, you are having your cake and eating it!" Yes, but it is a more honest kind of cake, and there is a lot of it to go round. Buy this watch and become an enlightened human being. Or buy a Nike Platinum Chronograph Sport, or a Mont Blanc, or even a Swatch Limited Edition, and incur the scathing mockery and ridicule of the growing community of Casio MQ-24-7BLL-sporting men-of-the-world. We mock you. Because we see through you, and through ourselves as well, and we prefer our selves to yours.

Buen producto
Compra recomendable.
