Beautiful neat wristwatch ,with lovely clear face for telling time the strap fits nicely and is very neat to wear

Firstly, this is a cheap watch, it is no Omega, but for functionality it is a real bargain.My wife wanted a durable watch for work, something that was easy to see and read, and the first thing she said to me is "I want a watch with 12 numbers on it and mites shown too" - well try and find one, as these two things seem to be out of fashion now, but like her I also think they are essential in a watch, having to 'guess' minutes is a nightmare, especially of someone asks you the time and you say well it is 12 minutes or maybe 13 minutes past one !She says the strap is easy to fasten and very comfortable to wear, and of course black markings on a white background couldn't be better.It proved to be quite accurate too, gaining about 1 minute every 2 months or so.Yes, we both have expensive "smart watches" but you just wouldn't want to wear them to work for fear of scratching or loosing them.Now the downside, well there would be one for a watch at this price.This is the second one of these watches she has had, the previous one lasted 19 months, then the battery went flat, and for starters the case was difficult to open up and then getting the battery out actually broke the battery contacts, even though I took great care.So yes, buy this watch it is good value, but when the battery goes, (to get it replaced professionally could cost the price of a new watch anyway, we were quoted £5) just 'bin it' and buy a new one like I did !It still gets 5 stars though as the last one cost £0.37 a MONTH over the 18 months it worked !

This is my third MQ24 watch. It tells me the time and is functional in every respect. It costs so little I don't have to be concerned about it in the garden, when carrying out DIY projects or while wading in the river when fishing. It's also great by the pool on holiday. If it gets dirty, sweaty or oily a quick wash under running water returns it to a very respectable state. My prevous watches have not been so waterproof after the battery had been changed, but it has been easy to dry them out after which they have continued their reliable service. My main reason for giving the watch four stars is the lack of a date display.If you just want to tell the time, I think this is the best value for money watch on the market. If you are looking for some jewellery this is not for you.

My wrists have a 14cm circumference and the third notch on this watch fits my wrist nicely. I'm leaving this information here in the hopes that it helps people because for some reason it's so hard to find actual measurements when buying watches online—at best reviews will mention "small wrists" but what is "small"—that's not a number! So hopefully this helps quantify what kind of small wrists this watch will fit for.There's a lot more notches on the watch so I think it will fit well on much larger wrists too.The watch itself is good quality, no complaints. Nice, clean, easy to read clock face, and the strap has a nice feel. Seems durable, though I haven't had it too long.

These watch are good value and work well,downside is the rubber strap will eventually break , need to buy a new strap and be able to replace the batteryTwo stars dropped because have bought these before , and the strap eventually broke and the battery had to be replaced

Love this watch - cheap, functional, unobtrusive.Battery stopped working after 2 1/2 years, and although it says you can't change the battery, you can :- battery : Duracell 376/377 (SR626)This is how I did it :- with tiny screwdriver : prise back off in centre of clips on either side, prise out old battery on side away from the tiny overlapping contact, slide new battery under contact & press opposite side down- check the rubber seal in is place & push the back on
