Best quality soap
It’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny, great quality soap, doesn’t dry out your skin but does leave you feeling clean and fresh, love the lather you get.

Great quality non irritating soap
You may think a fiver is a bit steep for a soap bar but I bought one to replace the sensitive skin shower gel I'm using, it will pay for itself in 1 month of use. I have sensitive skin with occasional eczema flare ups and this soap has been wonderful, lathers up nicely, subtle tea-tree oil smell (which I like anyway), feels good on the skin and cleans well. I've used this every day for showering and had no problems, skin feels clean, non-irritating, not too dry - but I moisturise after every shower anyway. Highly recommend, great quality.

Organic Bar For Sensitive Skin
- Overview - I have used the Dr. Bronner's Organic Tea Tree Soap Bar for sometime, as someone who wants to reduce the plastic waste we create this product is my go to. The main reasons I chose to go with this bar was the back story. I heard and watched the history of how Dr. Bronner's message All-One bar came around and felt I had to try this bar. Likewise the bar is fair trade and vegan, I always aim for products not tested on animals. - Appearance - This section is hard to write about but the image attached shows the product wrapped and slightly used. The message All-One is imprinted in the bar. - Use - I have used these bars for a good amount of weeks and they last well, you get a good lather as well. As with any bar make sure they air dry before you use them next time as it allows them the solidify. - Conclusion - This bar is ideal to replace liquid body wash, and will be great for travelling as it takes up less space. The bar I would also say will work out cheaper in the long run as you are not paying for water to be the main product in shampoo/body wash, just look at the label of what you use now, if aqua is first then the main product is water which is being shipped around yet we can get it from our taps. Finally, as the label shows the product is vegan and fair trade you can wash happy knowing no animals were harmed and a better price is being paid for the raw products.

nice and clean but not long lasting
It's a good soap, leaves you feeling squeaky clean. I haven't used it long enough to see any sink change results. They problem for me is the soap doesn't last very long. We had it a week with just my husband and I using it which isn't a very long life for soap. I would use it again but I can't justify spending so much on a bar of soap that last 1 week all the time.

The only soap you’ll ever need
I found this soap about 7 years ago when I was looking for a soap to use while I was trekking. I came across this as it’s biodegradable and not harmful to the environment so suitable for use on the hills. I’ve also struggled for years with acne and coincidentally I also found this soap clears it all up! It’s the only soap/body wash I use now. As it’s vegetable based (a lot of soaps contain tallow/beef fat) it’s suitable to use on all skin and the tea tree not only smells good but is helpful to your skin. It lasts a long while as it lathers up well and you only need a small amount to get clean. I have noticed the price creeping up but it’s a small price to pay for completely clear skin and knowing that I’m not harming the environment. It’s also a fun read if you ever decide to read the packaging!

Dr Bronner's vs Dove
# 🌍 Transparency in Skincare: What Consumers Can Learn In the world of personal care, trust is everything. Soap — a daily essential — has become a surprising case study in how marketing, formulation, and transparency shape consumer confidence. ## Dove: A Global Brand Under Scrutiny Dove, owned by Unilever, is one of the most recognizable names in skincare. In the United States, Dove has faced **class action lawsuits** over marketing claims. These cases focused on whether products advertised as *“hypoallergenic,” “tear‑free,” or “naturally derived”* contained ingredients that aligned with those promises. Settlements were reached in some instances, including cases involving **synthetic content in “natural” products** and **benzene contamination in dry shampoos**. Importantly, these lawsuits did not ban Dove products or declare them unsafe — they highlighted the **gap between marketing language and consumer expectations**. ## Dr. Bronner’s: Radical Transparency By contrast, Dr. Bronner’s Pure‑Castile Soap has built its reputation on **radical transparency**. Every ingredient is listed clearly: organic oils like coconut, olive, hemp, and jojoba form the base, while tea tree oil provides antibacterial properties. The brand emphasizes **fair trade sourcing, biodegradability, and simplicity**. For consumers, this means fewer synthetic additives and a clearer understanding of what’s in the bar. While tea tree oil can be strong for sensitive skin, the company openly acknowledges this — a refreshing approach compared to the marketing disputes that have challenged other brands. ## The Consumer Takeaway The lesson here isn’t about choosing one brand over another, but about the **power of transparency**: - When marketing claims are tested in court, the issue is often not safety, but **accuracy and trust**. - Brands that disclose ingredients openly and avoid exaggerated claims tend to build stronger reputations. - As consumers, we benefit from asking: *Does the product’s story match its formulation?* ## My Verdict as a Consumer After years of using Dove, I recently switched to Dr. Bronner’s Tea Tree Castile Soap. At £9 a bar, it’s a premium choice and a big bar of soap to use, but one that aligns with my values of the peace of mind comes not just from how the soap feels on my skin, but from knowing exactly what’s inside it. #ConsumerTrust #Transparency #Skincare #EthicalBusiness #FairTrade #Sustainability #BrandReputation

Overrated
I don't get the hype. I found it no better than any other soap. There was no change in the condition of my skin with this. People said it is fantastic for other uses such as shaving, tried it once and never again! It smells great, it's nice to use, but I found no advantages over plain soap therefore I can't justify the price and won't buy again

A avoir!

We repeatedly order Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Bar Soap (Tea Tree) for my husband, and it’s been a reliable favorite. The soap lathers well, has a clean, refreshing scent, and leaves skin feeling soft without drying. We appreciate that it’s natural and versatile—it can be used for hands, body, and even travel. What works well: Clean, fresh scent of tea tree Gentle but effective cleansing Long-lasting bar Natural ingredients we feel good about using Things to consider: Tea tree scent is noticeable—may not be for everyone who prefers unscented soap Bottom line: A consistently reliable bar soap that we keep reordering. Gentle, effective, and natural—perfect for everyday use.
