Pretty happy with this purchase
I'm very satisfied with this product. The page quality is good. It has an antique look that I really like with classic literature. The font size is also comfortable to read in my opinion. There's gold leaf work on the front, back and the sides of pages. I'm so looking forward to reading this in my spare time. Jane Eyre is one of the classic that everyone should read. One thing that the delivery service should improve is the packaging. Since it's a hardcover book, sturdy packing would've been more secure. Although my product wasn't dammaged at all.

Beautiful jewel of literary world
The book was published in the 19th century in the English language. It is written from its protagonist’s perspective, the first-person narrative by the author who was a poet and novelist and whose novels are distinguished as classics of English literature. This book is written in 38 chapters and describes five stages of Jane Eyre’s life.Jane Eyre is an orphan adopted by her uncle Mr. Reed and after his death, it becomes Mrs. Reed’s responsibility to give her upbringing. Mrs. Reed isn’t at all fond of Jane and never gives up a chance to humiliate and abuse her emotionally and physically. Later Mrs. Reed sends her to Lowood school for academics, a charity school for orphan girls where students suffer scarcity of food and clothing. Jane makes a friend there and learns knitting, painting, French and other subjects. After completing her school, she decides to leave Lowood and be independent. She gets a job as a governess at Thornfield to look after and teach Mr. Edward Rochester’s ward, Adele. Gradually she develops affection for Mr. Rochester and both fall in love but there is a dark hidden secret at Thornfield that forces Jane to take some decisions and not go against her principles. She leaves Thornfield and moves to Moor House in search of employment.Charlotte Bronte has portrayed Jane as a strong, decision-maker and theist. The book is written with so much mindfulness and doesn’t leave its pace or rhythm. It is a quintessential work of the author. Sublime words have the power to bring readers into Jane’s world. This book must be read to realize how a genius skillfully turns a theme into a classic. It is so rich and sophisticated with its content that gives a feel of holding a precious jewel in the hand. Romance is the center point of this book, the way it is narrated will surely make you fall into love with it.“He has told me I am formed for labor – not for love, it follows that I am not formed for love: which is true, no doubt. But, in my opinion, if I am not formed for love, it follows that I am not formed for marriage. Would it not be strange, Die, to be chained for life to a man who regarded one but as a useful tool?” – Charlotte Bronte

Beautiful book
The media could not be loaded. Wanted a collector's item of one of my favourite books and this edition does the job to a large extent. Beautifully bound, lovely paper quality and print with quite a few original illustrations and very economical. It ticks all the boxes. For those new to the story, it is written as a biography of an orphan girl in the nineteenth century who is passionate and an idealist to boot but appears to be docile and pliable. This book grows on you and every time you read it anew, your admiration for the heroine, and the writer, keeps increasing. I would highly recommend it to any person who has genuine love and empathy for their fellow creatures. Even separated by centuries, you can identify with Jane Eyre.

Pretty copy - some minor issues
The book itself is gorgeous. It was well wrapped, which was great since it was delivered in bad weather. Had to take a star off for 2 issues. The paper is a little thin as others have noted. The other issue is I’ve just started reading and have already noticed a misprint (hopefully the only one). They printed “Joan” instead of “Jane” when referring to the main character. Considering that the name of the character is the name of the book, it’s not a great mistake to make.

A wonderful read!
I wasn't much for classics as kid. Now I can appreciate and lose myself in them. Jane Eyre is one of my top five. The characters are so well written. I despise an overbearing and contentious female lead. Jane Eyre is the opposite. Her character is written as kind, gentle, feminine, and well spoken. Her character isn't emotional and annoying. It was Mr. Rochester's character development that had me turning the pages. Excellent read from start to finish.
