GoPro HERO+ Camera with LCD Touch Screen (8 MP, 1080p)

My son was thrilled with this birthday present and is loving filming everything, it's very easy to set up and use, works really well with the app on the phone and the lcd display. Delivery was quick and was well packaged.

I bought this camera in addition to GoPro Hero 4 Black and to my surprise I've ended up using HERO+ all the time. There is few reasons for it.The battery although is build in the camera it lasts forever in comparison to HERO4 Black. Just today we went for a walk and I have fired up both and while HERO+ was recording through out our 1.5h walk, I had to replace battery 4 times in Hero4 Black. Just to mention that I have Hero4 Black with LCD screen.Saying that the HERO+ is a 2015 model so the user interface is nearly perfect. Camera is much faster and user friendly than HERO4 Black with LCD screen.In regards to picture quality I record mostly in 720p Superwide or 1080p. So when you compare the picture from both, it's very similar.And HERO+ is picture perfect.OK HERO4 Black records 4K, so what - I burn everything on DVD anyway or HD Blue Ray so 4K is useless unless you record professionally and need to crop from the scene.HERO+ Advantages:- Start recording straight away after turned on - optional- Activates touch screen when touched - HERO4 Black doesn't you need to press a fiddly button.- Battery last very long- Very good quality picture- Superfast menu & easy to navigate- Very good build quality- Amazing underwater performance like out of this world.To summarise if you are looking for superb action cam HERO+ LCD is one of the best overall cameras on the market. Well recommended.

Great cam,go pro's like this are well worth the money,was gutted that it came with a old style charger and not one of the new micro usb's that these need to charge and upload through.So good cam,just naff that the wire was not the right one

I was researching and researching for a cheaper alternative to a GoPro. In the end I couldn't make up my mind so decided to just go for it and get a GoPro! This camera is absolutely fantastic, the quality of the photos is amazing. I love that it comes in a waterproof housing. I haven't done too much filming yet but it seems to be really good quality too.It comes with easy to use instructions and it didn't take me long to figure out how to work my way around it. I think there is still a lot for me to learn about how to use it but I'm very pleased I went for this purchase.(I loved it even more after I figured out that you can turn the beeping noise off!)

Excellent definition in the videos. Took an age to transfer files via wifi, much much easier to transfer straight from SD card to PC. Instructions useless, just go straight to Utube. Software difficult to use. Looking forward to using it more generally happy with it

Great camera. Very good camera. However the outer case has just fallen apart. No clip to secure a back onto the camera, so now no longer waterproof or dustproof. Very disappointing as I expected much better durability from GoPro. All this a day before a trip, meaning I will need to fork out at the airport.

Got it to use as a dash-cam, video my workouts and to monitor my dogs while I'm out, video quality is excellent, crisp clear and smooth running, while the 1080p might not be on par with my HD cam or from my Nikon D750 it's more than good enough for its purpose, Software is great and the touch display is very smooth and responsive, Wifi works great with the app and I can connect to the GoPro from work and check what those dogs are getting up to.

Second time buying one of these - got the first one as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it so much I got my mum one! We don't have a laptop or anything at home, but found it easy enough to get the photos onto our phone via wi-fi, so I would still recommend it if you don't have a laptop or computer. Photos under water also came out really well, and I would definitely recommend getting one like this where you have a screen on the back to see what you're taking photos/videos of - I know people who have the cheaper ones with no screen on the back and have often missed photo opportunities by pointing the camera above/below what they are trying to capture due to not being able to see!
