Amazon Basics Waterproof Car Back Bench Seat Cover Protector for Pets - 56 x 47, Black

I bought this for a second run around car I have and opted for the cheaper product which is Amazon’s own brand but in fact it’s just as good as one I bought for twice the price in a well know Pet Superstore. Well worth the money, easy to fit and decent quality.

Very good product. Not a thin sheet but a strong one. Easy to clean.

Sturdy, well fitting, great price

Fantastic. Fits my car like a glove (BMW 5 Series) and if like me your boot is too small for the dog this is the only option. It literrallly hangs like a hammock between the front and rear headrests and has two small battons that are sown into the lining, just in the right place to push between the small gap between the back and the bottom of the seat, securing the hammock so it doesn't slide/rock/slip. The hammock covers up the foot well so no dog falling down if you stop slightly too hard, and if like me you have a dog seat belt there are small slits to get to the seat belt clip. Waterproof and heavy quality - should last for ages.If you want to remove it to use the rear seats for passengers, it's four quick release clips, one on each of the headrests and it's out. Only evidence of dog on your seat, is where the seat belt slit is and this is a small amount to wipe out.Great vaue and food quality,

Great Product! Saturday it rained and therefore on Sunday the fields were muddy. This saved the car's upholstery! The muddy paw prints were all over the hammock but after a quick wipe with a wet paper towel- the hammock was like brand new.Most hammocks and bench seats will slide around and fall off. This one stays in place and is secure. My border collie puppy loves it. I love the zipper in the front where the arm rest is. You can't see it in the advertised picture but a lot of times my border collie likes to stick his head and paws on the arm rest but there is a zipper that stops him from doing that and attempting to climb into the front seats. If you do however want to check in on your animal without trying to look over the front seats- you can simply pull the zipper down in the middle and have a look.

Having used this for a while, overall it's pretty decent and hard wearing but there are one or two issues I have with it. The underneath is slippery so it often bunches up and no longer covers all of the back seats when the dog is getting in and out of it. I wish there was a better way of getting the bottom to be firmly secured because the elastic it has doesn't really work as it's intended, at least on my car (ford focus).

Bought for back of car so I can put my swim stuff on the seat without worrying about it marking it or making it wet.Not tried it for folks to sit on and use seatbelts, so cannot comment how that works.

Answering my own question, yes it does fit a Citroen Berlingo. I got this to replace what I now realise was probably an earlier version of the same thing, or something very similar. That lasted six years and the zip down the middle (so you can have someone sitting on the seat itself with the dog on half the cover) only broke because of some rough use yesterday, so not bad. The other thing that aged was some extra elastic around the corners to try and help it stay put. These sagged and they are not really necessary so I didn't miss them in the new version. On the plus side you can now tighten with the ratchet thing to get the right fit- I just used to wrap the fastenings around the headrest bases - there are some great little "stays" you can poke between the seat and the back to get it to tuck into the seat more, and there is a pocket for stuff on the part which lies against the back of the passenger seat. I was a little worried paws might get trapped here but I think it's very unlikely.The only thing I could really find to criticise, just a little, is the opening for the seat belt fasteners which is a bit too big, open and "floppy" and I think a few hairs, etc will get through here. If there was some way one side of the material here could overlap a little more, that would help.All in all I think it is a great buy, very easy to fit and a much better "shape" than the previous one I had - it hugs the shape of the seats better meaning your dog is less likely to slip around. It does the job very well at a very reasonable price.
