Are these thicker than regular surface wet wipes (that the dirt can go through them and stain the mop base)?

Yes these wipes are thicker and much more wet, so one wipe is sufficient to clean an entire room. I've never had a dirt go through the wipe. I find these so much better than any other floor wipe i have found in stores that I think its worth the extra expense. However, I have yet to try the Dettol floor wipes.

Can they be used on sealed hardwood floors?

We have used it on our hardwood sealed floor and it’s fine. Think it states somewhere it’s ok for sealed hardwood.

Are these suitable for yse with a flash speedmop?

All I can say is that they look exactly the same on the ad! They are copying the Swiffer in my opinion.

do these leave any residue please? i have used others and they leave a horrible mess once dry!!

These are the best....only wipes that don't leave a sticky residue. They smell good too. LOVE THEM!!!
