Tech 21 T21-5357 Evo Wallet Case with FlexShock for Apple iPhone 7 Plus - Black

Exquisite. I have had 7 or 8 iPhone cases from some of the best sources and this case outshines them all. The positive points are; Protection 10/10 - the body of the case is as protective as my Spigen Armoured case, the front flap is solid and the clip is wonderfully firm and safe once clicked shut (plus, it is small enough that it doesn't snag on your pocket). Aesthetics - 9/10 OK, it's just black and partially transparent, but the front has a great texture, the back is smooth with a nice hint of the phone inside, and even the Tech21 Logo is tasteful and quiet. It looks great (not quite as cyber/military as some protective cases) and feels better. Useability 8/10. Comfortable to hold and easy to use. Any case with a flap is a little harder to use when taking photos, but that is the same for all of them so it is not a negative for this case. The flap does not magnetically clip to the back when fully open as with my other case, but I have not found this a problem. Also, if you want a case for standing your phone up as a screen this is not the case for you, but I don't want that so that is not an issue. On a HUGE positive note, the case holds your credit/bank card in a neat and easy to access slot and the case has a flap that protects your phone glass from the card(s). This flap is magnetically held to the front so does not flap around in use but is easy to open to get to your card...and the fact that it protects your screen from that hard, plastic card is just brilliant. It is the best design I have seen for this on any case. You can remove the front flap and replace it with a widget that covers the hole, but it is tricky and fiddly so if yo want a front flap that removes and replaces quickly this is NOT the case for you. However, if you want something that is solid and protective and clips very firmly and satisfyingly shut, looks and feels great and slides in and out of your pocket easily and carries your card(s) quite brilliantly whilst giving you good access to all buttons etc I give this case a very rare 9/10 (and I only go above 8/10 for exceptionally good products)

First one had to be sent back as the power button was constantly being pressed. Replacement fitted perfectly and is a good practical case. Only slight issue is it is difficult to operate slide switch in side to mute. V pleased overall

Ordered Saturday arrived Sunday with prime. Worth the £79 per year. I bought the Tech 21 open face case when buying my phone, superb. But wanted the screen protected. Couldn't get it anywhere in shops. Amazon was the way. Best phone case for your money by far. I love the double front which stops your bank cards scratching the glass. There's room for two. If you don't want the wallet case, the front is removable. Simple. You get a spare plastic snap on too.

Got this case today and thought great! Fitted well and with the interchangeable cover I was ready to go....then I discovered that the sleep/wake button did not work. After some investigation it seems the case is too tight on he button which means it cannot be pressed, it is almost always pressed and can lead to the switch off swipe coming up. If you pull the case away from the button it works. This means you cannot screen shot with the case.... I have emailed tech21 support but have since found multiple reviews on other sites complaining of the same thing. I will wait to hear from tech21, but think this is going back!! Shame. UPDATE: Tech 21 have sent a standard email back saying I must send a photo of the fault! It is a button from the case that does not touch another button. However online I found a solution. Flip out the button and place it inside out- problem solved. But I paid nearly £40! Come on tech 21 you have a design flaw! UPDATE: I loved with the solution but now the plastic clasp has fallen off! I have contacted tech21 and a replacement is on its way. UPDATE: The replacement arrived, a few months untroubled usage and then....the clasp falls off again!i I give up.

I was excited to try the Tech 21 Evo Wallet. It had everything I was looking for in a case, style, a card holder slot which was removable and adequate protection. The card slots are great...until you start putting cards into it, the case then has problems. The clasp no longer fits without issue and the cover just looks bulky. Real shame as I wanted this to work. I’ll probably go for the Otterbox instead.

Absolutely Superb! Solid, light, easy to open, with "secret" bank card compartment. I feel I should go buy another phone just so I can justify going out and getting another one of these cases!!!! ;-)

Bought this performed ok for a about 6 weeks but suddenly on holiday the closing mechanism fell off. It is broken (see picture ) I could possibly glue it back together but I think the company should send me a new cover and give me the option of keeping a spare in case the new one breaks too. Come on guys you need to sort this. It spoils an otherwise excellent product. It really can't be that difficult to fix this !!!! I need some return communication on this otherwise I will have to revise my scoring downwards !!

C’est une excellente coque pour iPhone. Son seul défaut est son système de fermeture qui s’use et finit par lâcher . C’est ma seconde coque de ce modèle pour mon iPhone 7. Pour iPhone 6 le système de fermeture était différent et beaucoup plus solide

We bought these before at BestBuy. Lasted a good 2-3 yrs before the wear and tear made was too much. On mine, the snap that keeps the cover secured to the boat when closed snapped off after 3-4 months, but I’m not careful with my stuff. Hers stayed on the whole time. I’m just glad this is still available because it really works well as a case, propping up to watch things while laying down or whatever, and as a protector. I dropped my phone a few times onto the sidewalk and the case didn’t even have any marks. I like how it comes with an option if you don’t want to use the flip cover thing. You can just pop it out and put in the other little backing and it’s like a regular non-folio case with good impact protection. I knocked off one star on Durability because of my snap issue, but it holds up against all my other bad habits like throwing my phone into my Tumi bag along with keys and other metal objects (nail clippers, chargers, spoons, forks, etc) and has held up through years of abuse.
