From off, press and hold the mode switch for approx 2 seconds the red light will come on. Press the on and off button for 2 seconds to turn red light off.

Where can I purchase the other headband option (the thicker yellow one)

Hey there, not sure where to purchase with thicker headband but think Amazon seller is in South Wales. From personal experience the elastic cable fitting is pretty comfortable if worn with some type of headgear such as a Buff. Hope this helps.
