Suma Organic Raw Cane Sugar 3 kg

I am not sure what raw sugar should look like but this is a pale golden colour like unbleached caster sugar. I just wanted some organic sugar, in larger quantaties, for my home brewing, and this one came out at just about £4/kilo, and as my supermarket wanted £4.99/kilo I have saves a couple of pounds but also had the joy of next day delivery (can't say that waitrose!) I comes in a good sized plast bad - it is not resealable but i have aheat sealer at home so that is no bother for me. If you don.t have a heat sealer - what I used to do before I had one for my other bulk purchased ( spices, organic nuts and dried fruit etc) I would rolld the top, clip with a washing peg, and then pop in another bag, and do the same, that usually kept everything nice and safe and dry ( I have large storage bins for each project ( currys, protein bars, teas, wine & Mead, Kombucha & Kefir, preserves and jams - and everything gets put in those - ingredients, equipment all together and then the airtight lid goes on and it is all stored for my next batch - not sure if that is suitable for everyone but it helps me so thought I would mention it - you can buy the food storage bins 50L and upwards here. Anyway, as i say I cannot comment on the "raw" ness of the sugar, but it looks good, no clumps, and flows and is a reasonable price and gets to you quickly.

Husband loves this sugar in his tea. I use it for baking and various other recipes. A bit on the pricey side but sometimes good quality does command a higher price. Packaging a bit precarious and could be better by using a double bag. Have this item on subscription as i need it on a regular basis.

Just what I needed

An absolute must as large quantities of baking take place in our house every week. Should really do two a month @ > 1kg per week, as still topping up with Billington's from Abel & Cole. Glad about the ethical sourcing. Buy on subscription.

i'm trying to keep my diet as natural as possible, i would like also to cut the sugar in general but taste of product like Agave just are not for me! This is a good product for the transaction period: taste great, I use it for coffee, tea, baking etc. without problem. Love it!

This sugar is amazing, its taste is so good and a very good amount for its price

We love this sugar. It's perfect. Right sized grains, and goes into everything. Our tea tastes great, and we believe in Cane sugar, over Beetroot or artificial sweeteners. Fully satisfied.
