Frontier Maple Flavor - 59 ml

Proper maple flavour.
Excellent, surprisingly natural maple flavour. (I spent several years in New England's maple syrup country, so I was worried that this would taste artificial.) It's delicious! I've used it in muffins, whipped cream, and chia pudding, and the flavour really is fantastic. You need very little to get a strong, real-maple taste.I do agree with the previous reviewer: it's a shame it contains soy as even those of us who aren't allergic to soya products may need/want to avoid soy for medical reasons.

really good!
I used this in an apple pinhead-oats recipe, only 1 tsp, went a long way. Gave my morning oats a wonderful warm maple undertone. If you add brown sugar or stevia with cinnamon and nutmeg along with the 2 chopped granny smith apples, it is a healthy breakfast that will keep you going all morning. 1 tsp of this maple flavour was enough for 1 cup of uncooked oats, 1 cup water, 3 cups almond milk (I like creamy oats), a dash of salt plus the ingredients I already mentioned. I recommend making it all overnight in the slow cooker-8 hrs on low- and you will wake up to a lovely smell in the kitchen! I used the pinhead oats for the slow cooker otherwise normal oats get too mushy.

Lovely flavour
Just what I needed to make Pioneer woman cinnamon buns! The buns were delicious and you could taste the maple in the icing. It is great that you can get these difficult to find products online but I wish they (or the postage) was slightly less expensive as the total cost seemed high for such a small item, hence the 4 stars. Other than that, the product was great.

Tastes good
The taste of the extract is very maple-y. Due to the open bottle it is not very easy to dose. I'd definitely prefer a dropper or some kind of dosage help as it is very concentrated. Would prevent spillage too.

Chemical flavour
Unfortunately this particular brand does not meet my requirements for a maple flavour. I use another product that is far superior but not available on amazon

Used this for a pioneer woman recipe for maple scones ...
Used this for a pioneer woman recipe for maple scones, not sure if you would not get the same flavour using real maple syrup. Nonetheless the scones tasted okay

Great taste but contains soy
Great maple taste and no propylene glycol or sugar - I would love it even more without the soy in it.
