As the title suggests, these headphones are truly amazing but sadly the only problem I have with them (well, 2 actually but I'll get onto that in a bit) is the fact that they aren't glasses-friendly. With the amount of pressure they apply to your ears they certainly won't be coming off even with violent headbanging but that's the problem. They apply too much pressure. I'm not trying to say that feel awful but a swivel cup would have been a nice addition and wouldn't have added much more to the manufacturing costs at all. The sound: You buy expensive or audiophile grade headphones for the quality of the sound. I'm no true audiophile but I am heavily into crisp, clear sound with balanced mids and bass. I noticed a few people complaining about the sound but in all honesty, I can't fault the drivers at all. To me (and as I said, I like clear sound) they sound perfect for this price. The bass slider does kill the overall quality by making the only thing you can hear (and feel) is pure bass, which is why I recommend it just above off or in the middle. Feel: The feel of the headphones in the hand and on your head or neck is nothing short of exceptional. They don't weigh much in the grand scheme of things but they don't feel like they are weightless either. I think Skullcandy got the weight just right. Not too heavy but not too light either. Comfort: I already covered this on the first paragraph but I'll explain a bit more about it. They're decent in terms of comfort on your head. If Skullcandy made a swivel cup on the next revision of these headphones then I'd fall in love in an instant. But as they are, the angle of the cups isn't ideal, they apply way too much pressure to the lower half of your ear and if you've got a medium sized head then unfortunately you'll have to endure slight discomfort while wearing them. And if you've got glasses then it's even worse.. Battery: Now, this is a bit of a mixed bag. What I mean by that is the rated 40 hours, it might seem like a lot but remember that there's a lot more space to put a larger battery in compared to sports wireless earbuds. Yes, 40 hours is perfect if you use them while working like me, but overall its not that big considering the size and design of the headphones. Conclusion: Overall, I am truly impressed and blown away at how great they are! I'd never turn them down, ever! The only real consideration you should think about before buying is do you wear glasses, if so. Make sure you've got some sort of method to reduce the pressure they put.

Skullcandy "Crusher" Wireless headphones. I have wanted a quality pair of headphones for sometime and I thoroughly researched all makes and models at the €100 ish price range. I decided against some strong contenders from Sony, AKG and Sennheiser and purchased these as a belated Crimbo present :) No they are not perfect. Nothing to do with music reproduction ever is no matter how much you spend and at one time I did spend lots on my Hi-Fi. Now my criteria for music has lowered a little. Now all I want is for it to be enjoyable. What these can do is truly phenomenal. Apart from the battery that never seems to run out, and the easy Bluetooth connection to any compatible device, the main attraction is the music and the Skullcandy gimmick of making the bass notes an actual, physical thing. When I read other reviews I was thinking, yes, neat trick but is it distracting ? Does the other music get drowned out by the bass ? No and NO ! It's an amazing addition and blows cobwebs off your music collection.Nearly everything I tried was improved to a point. Some more than others but, overall, they make everything more enjoyable.Predictably, bass heavy productions come out well but they do on most systems. I played a full range of musical genres including Prince, Queen, Michael Jackson, Moby, James, Jethro Tull, AC/DC, Kate Bush, Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt,Talking Heads, Radiohead, and hundreds of others. Even Eminem and Nelly were briefly entertained ;) I also tried some chamber music and that was very impressive too. Just to see how they handle music with little bass. The very first track I played was Van Morrison-Rough God Goes Riding off his Duets album. Unbelievable. I had to lower the bass setting a little as my few remaining fillings were in danger of falling out ! I couldn't wait to try other songs after that. They are very comfortable to wear and the quality of the product is excellent. To think they have a pair of Limited Edition 360 Crushers for €300 is intriguing. At that price they must be a lot better than the standard ones and the competition at the 300 price point includes the supposedly unbeatable Sony WH-1000XM3. So if you're looking for headphones that you can use anywhere, these are well worth a listen.

After retiring my old wired Skullcandy Crushers that I've had for roughly 3 years, I decided to upgrade to these pairs. PROS: - The sound is high quality, there are no hiccups in sound quality. - The headphones are well-built. - Comfortable on the head, soft earmuffs and premium quality leather headband. - You can have quite some distance to the connect device without loss of quality in sound. - The built-in microphone on the actual headphones (not the inline wire) is incredible quality for a built-in mic. - Long battery life with short charging times. - Easy to pair to any device, takes less than a minute to setup, and less than 10 seconds to connect to the same paired device hereafter. - Big buttons on the back right side are easy to locate when you want to pause, play, skip songs etc. - Simple design, not too flashy, comes in a nice matte black colour. - Light on the head, doesn't feel too heavy - The bass works even when the battery is dead, and it's plugged in using the wire. CONS: - Can't charge them whilst using them as wired headphones. - The micro-USB charging wire that comes with the headphones are extremely short. - Being too far from connected device reduces volume ever so slightly. - The bass compared to the previous wired model are better, but they don't vibrate like the previous model. - Having the bass slider medium to high can muffle the sound, if the volume is low. - The earmuffs don't swivel very much from the headband or at all. However, it doesn't feel stiff on the head - There are exposed wires above each earmuff. Would've preferred these to be built into the headband and hidden as they are very thick wires. - High sound leakage.

I HAD THESE HEADHONES FOR 3 MONTHS 1st of all, the sound on these headphones is really good 2nd, the haptic bass will not pick up a lot of base frequencies, like mid ends or even really low ends...and most of the time only one tone of bass will be wayy to overpowera while the other tones will be given by the stereo speakers and will bot be balanced at all 3rd, there are songs which will sound good and balanced with your headphones, but most of them as i said some tones of bass will be weak while others will be too overpowered 4th, the battery life is the best, if you charge them you will not to worry about them dying on u a cour days after charging, is just great 5th the clamping force is tight and maybe they will not feel too hood over long periods of time (i am good with them in the gym but other might not like it), but on the other hand it is tight to help with the noice reduction which is also great 6th, many people are complaining about the built quality being bad, but i haven't encountered that! I handle them with care (as everyone should) as they are made of plastic at the end of the day, which by the way is good quality plastic, yes i have mad some scratches accidentally, but other than that they feel really solid, but i see where they might have the potential to fail and that is where the screws are, above the aluminium band and also with the two frame sides holding the cups (i don't see any sign of them braking or any cracks but i also saw reviews and photos) OVERALL, if you like bass you should consider it but be aware that the bass tones might not be balanced even on the songs you want to listen the most on them, so that can be a bit disappointing but you will be able to blend the tones if you lower the bass slider, also you are gonna want to take a little care with them as they are not the best rated for durability... If i knew that the bass was not exactly what i expected would i still buy them?...well, yes for £90 i think it is a good pair of headphones and if you lower the bass slider you can manage to balance out the tones on songs that need it!

I must admit, I've always had a preconception that Skullcandy were an overpriced brand marketed specifically at teens and I've therefore always avoided them. However, after spending hours testing various headphones in store and reading numerous reviews, I can honestly say that these headphones are amazing. The sound quality, while not as clean and accurate as say the Audio Technica MSR7s, is top notch. Especially if you are into bass heavy music, which these are clearly geared towards. The adjustable haptic bass slider is a great addition and can really take your music to the next level, providing you enjoy that sort of thing. Though I found that around half way is the sweet spot for most bass heavy songs. Beyond that it can be just too overpowering, often distorting the track. It literally feels like standing next to the speakers in a night club. Which, admittedly, isn't always a bad thing! If you're listening to these through your mobile the sound is great out of the box, however if you intend on listening to these through a computer, you may need to tweak your EQ settings. I found that through my own PC, the top end needed boosted a little as vocals felt a little drowned out by the lows. But once I'd made those tweaks they sound great wherever I listen to them. If you're a regular commuter you cannot go wrong with these. The build quality is fantastic, they look stylish and understated and they're super comfortable due to the memory foam padding. The clamp on these felt a little tight at first, but you quickly get used to it. I've worn these pretty much all day from 7am to 7pm for the past week and I've yet to experience any discomfort or overheating. For the price, I cannot recommend these headphones enough. These have completely changed my opinion on Skullcandy. Top quality product at a great price.

I bought these after I bought the sony XB950BT headphones and wanting more bass. Having both to compare side by side the XB950BT's are more comfortable to wear as I find that these squeeze bit but that could just be me. I personally find them louder and crisper than the sony's also. The bass is just crazy. I've never experienced anything like it in a pair of headphones before. The fact that you can adjust the bass accordingly to each song is perfect. They have two drivers in each earcup one main 40mm @ 32 ohms and a 32mm "crusher" driver @ 13 ohms. They vibrate your whole head and feels like you have subwoofer strapped to you. When I first tried them out and I put the slider up I had a constant smile on my face of joy and disbelief. You get up to 40hrs battery life. The bass and mic still works when using the cable is just a bonus plus it comes with a case. None of which the Sony does. My only negative point is the bass frequency range of the 32mm "crusher driver" is not as low as the Sony so sometimes it doesn't pick up the really low bass tones like in some trap music (future, migos) so I found that if I turned the slider down the larger main driver was able to pick them up instead. It wasn't brain crushing bass but was still heavy enough to be enjoyable. But other than that, I love these headphones. Came on time and nicely packed. I've since sold my sony's.

I'll start with the pros - Absolutely love the sound quality, I had another pair of skullcandy headphones before these, and only bought these as the faux leather was ripping and peeling off, getting stuck in my ears. The battery life on these are great, I can't find any other decent headphones with a similar battery life for the same price. Noise cancelling is good too with the memory foam pads. Cons - After about a year, the left hinge broke. Now, a few months later, so has the right. The faux leather on the pads have also started ripping apart, revealing the blue foam underneath, and the top layer is also peeling off, leaving black bits in my ears. Would have liked them to have lasted. I'm writing this on 5th September 2019, only purchased then in April 2018. Disappointed with build quality, in love with sound quality.

Don't get misled by the 3 stars!!!! These headphones may be 5 star for you...or even 1 star. Why? Keep reading. To me...sound and what you get in the sense of audio - this is the BEST headphones I ever had a chance to wear, and I wore a LOT of headphones. If you are a BASSHEAD they are giving you a real sensation of a subwoofer...like no other headphones. That can be adjusted to your preference. However, if you are a gamer looking for a headset - better run away or just forget that they have integrated microphone. They can't be used as a headset since using Bluetooth is instantly switching them from Headphones to Headset, selecting "handsfree" profile...and then you get 1 channel, tape quality sound that is just disasterous. 1 star for gaming. So, all in all - be VERY careful why you buy them. Build quality is great, clamping force a bit stronger but they can't be shaken off, passive sound isolation there, comfortable pads present...a bit too small ear hole so some of you won't fit your ears inside. Range is ok, but limiting...and they do get prone to interference via USB 3.0 ports if you don't use extending cable. So...there it is. AWESOME for Singleplayer. TERRIBLE for Multiplayer. MUST have for bass rich music. IGNORE for treble.

Nachdem ich lange nach Kabellosen "overears" gesucht habe, kam n Kollege mit den Dingern in die Kneipe. Er hat davon geschwärmt und ich dachte mir: Naja, die Leute sind halt nix gewohnt, ich brauch es schon richtig... Dann setzt er mir die Dinger auf, ich schieb den Regler hoch und zeitgleich ging bei mir was anderes mit hoch! (Die Mundwinkel natürlich, die untere hälfte meines Körpers wurde wegen der Bierflut nicht mehr korrekt durchblutet). Dabei habe ich bestimmt ein tolles Bild abgegeben: glückseliges Lächeln, das Gefühl den heiligen Gral ausserhalb eines Videospiels gefunden zu haben und das gefangen in einem pre-Adipösen Körper in einer Keipe bei 1,8 aufm Kessel... Dann vergingen ein paar Tage, ich wollte sie haben aber meine bessere Hälfte sagte: MiMiMi,wassolldaswofürbrauchstedasduhastdochschonwelcheundMiMiMiüberhapt. oder so ähnlich... Zeitsprung, einen Monat später: Wir bei der Eröffnung des Weihnachtsmarktes , die Kopfhöhrer kommen wieder an den Tisch (Ja, ich hatte n Tisch in nem Zelt reserviert, das Gedränge und ewige Anstehen drückt mir auf mein sonniges Gemüt) und ich sag meinem Schatz: Hier, wünsch Dir n Lied, mach dir die Lautstärke korrekt und schieb den heiligen Regler (der heißt jetzt so) saaaanft nach oben. Sie machte es...kurz erschrocken (Bewegungslegastheniker^^),Regler weiter runter und dann ein: Uii, kauf die...und mir auch. Sie gibt mir die Kopfhöhrer zurück, ich setz sie dem nächsten auf, 71Jahre jung, sein Wunsch war "mach mal MG42 oder Panzerfaust 140" (oder so, keine Ahnung wie das Ding hieß). Er hat sich gefreut und sagte: Ja, klingt genauso wie früher. Die haben immer so schön geklungen wenn man die abgefeuert hat. (...). Achso, Tragekomfort ist gut, die Schalen liegen stramm an, man könnte damit Joggen. Die passen bei großem Kopp und großen Ohren. Auch nach längerem Tragen drücken sie nicht unangenehm. Wobei ich sie noch nicht länger als ne Stunde aufhatte, denn irgendwann braucht mein Trommelfell etwas Entspannung. Ach, da sind wir bei einem der wichtigsten Punkte überhaupt : Entspannung. 1: Du bist entspannt, da die Dinger richtig vibrieren (Die ein oder andere Dame kennt das vielleicht) 2: Du bist noch mehr entspannt, da die Dinger auch bei niedriger Lautstärke kaum Umgebungsgeräusche durchlassen. 3: Deine Nachbarn sind entspannt, weil Du jetzt nicht mehr deine Anlage zu Hause aufreißen musst, um etwas Festivalfeeling zu bekommen (Ich hab die Infinity Kappa 9.2i zu Hause stehen und bin erst kurz vorm clipping Glücklich- meine Nachbarschaft wird euch die Kopfhöhrer sicher auch ausnahmslos empfehlen! So viele Leute können sich nicht irren!) Also eine win win win Situation. Zum Pegel (also nicht meiner, sondern die Lautstärke der Dinger): Je nach Quelle. Spotify kommt etwas gedämft, Youtube-naja, das kommt aufs Video an, Internetradio kommt bei mir richtig gut (Gestern abend haben die bei Teatime.fm wieder mit hohem Signal gestreamt- Junge, ich dachte ich bekomm links n Hörsturz aber ich habe nicht aufgehört, es war geil. By the way , hatte sogar mal n Hörsturz vor ein paar Jahren (Nature One : entweder Airport oder Gayphoria ganz vorne, was lauteres bzw. mehr Bass hab ich noch nicht erlebt unter freiem Himmel - auch nicht bei Rammstein). I bought this headphones only for bass nothing else. I have done my research and gone through as many reviews on internet possible. Many have said wrong things about it but majority accepts the Skullcandy Crusher's dominance in the bass department. So I made up mind and got this instead of Sony XB950 which was the only real challenger for Crusher in this price range. Honestly I don't know how the Sony sounds since I have never tried it. My expectations was quite high before I received my package. The crusher literally blew me out despite my unrealistic expectations. This much bass in a headphone really? that's unbelievable you gotta listen to it to believe it. My only worry about it before purchasing one was 'what if it is all vibrations or some fake bass?' but believe me and stop listening to critics saying so. It's not vibration it's real as hell. Yeah, think about you put your ears close to a large sub woofer all you hear is vibration and rumble right? Is that fake? No its natural, the deeper the bass is the more vibration is. That's exactly what you can hear with this headphone. Let me be honest I am not a fan of the overkill bass that some enjoy in their car. The wild and crazy vibration happens only if you turn the bass slider all the way up which is unbearable to listen to for long. I enjoy tight mid range bass more than vibrating bass. So I don't even have to move that bass slider at all. This already has more than enough bass without the slider. For some bass heavy songs with emphasis on very low deep bass I would slide it just a quarter max and that will give you that sub woofer effect more than you need. The problem with going crazy with the slider is that it takes away the mids and highs away and all you can hear is overpowering bass. Nonetheless the option is there for the user to decide how much bass they want. My only concern about this headphone is that it can't really perform well at lower volume. You have to start from at least 50% to get a decent loudness. Anything below 50% is too quiet. I don't know if it has something to do with my laptop's Bluetooth quality because I get little more loudness using it with my iPhone with the same volume level. I used to listen to music at 25% using my Sony XB450 which costs only 1800 Rupees (about 25 USD) which is pretty loud even at that level. I think this is probably a common problem among headphones with larger drivers as they need more output power to operate. But it's no big deal anyway. Your new normal listening volume level will be 50 instead of 30 if you have switched from a smaller headphone to something like the Crusher like myself. Once again don't expect too much clarity on mids and highs with this as this is purely a basshead headphone. Mids and highs are good but not great. I had a little trouble with Bluetooth connectivity too. I had to reset the headphone a couple of times to get it detected by my PC which is a bit worrisome but it's been only a few hours since I got my dream headphone. I am figuring it out. In conclusion this is probably the best bass headphone in the world for this price range. I would like to hear from people who got XB950s on how it sounds. I am proud that I have spent my money wisely and got something worth more than the money.

I LOVE THESE! They're just the experience I was looking for! Adjustable bass, good maximum volume and they don't "auto-pause" when detecting that you've taken them off or moved them. That mechanism can often work against you. My ONLY gripe is that they're loud and not noise cancelling so if you're in a quiet place, you'll have to lower the volume so as not to distract others around you. But that's not something I'd mark them down on. They're just really good! And expect a lot of vibration around your ears. It can tickle at first but you get used to it.

The design team nailed this one! I love the oval design for over-ear phones, and it's kind of hard to find. More importantly, it's hard to find an affordable pair with good bass. These absolutely have the bass they advertise; The kind I've been looking for that actually rattles my head and leaves me feeling almost like I've been at a live concert; Without spending $200, which I cannot bring myself to do. I bought 2 pairs at $20 off, and the smile has not left my face. The bass slider is really cool. It has an aux port so I can plug them into my EDrums. They will pair great with my Woojer Vest.. I like that the headband pad is rubber so it won't fall apart like other ones with thin, delicate pad covers.. The ear pads also feel quite durable, but still soft; Like a thin imitation leather. I like that it doesn't have noise canceling to keep the price down, just good materials that keep the sound in and killer bass! They don't look like they'd fold, but they do which is great. They don't rotate to get that perfect angle, but that's ok bc sometimes they can get too loose and start falling off, plus keep cost down. I tested it on my thigh, they're not loud at all to people around you at full volume. Gold star. Happy boy. Thank You! Dubstep and Metal sound amazing. Finally found my bass headphones! Dude. Bro. C'mon. Do it. Go'on get ya some. Excellent. I haven't used Beats or anything like that, as I stated I cannot spend $200 on headphones, but these are easily the best I've had. No comparison to a similar noise canceling pair I have that were supposed to have heavy bass. NO COMPARISON, and they were only like $20 more. Happy Birthday to Me! And it's not even my Birthday :D (I also looked at Heavys, they want like $250 for those 😬) I haven't had a pair of SkullCandys in probably 15 years. So so glad I gave these a try. Tengo ya un muy buen tiempo con ellos y son magnificos, una calidad de bajos increible, audio increible, perfectos tanto para musica, peliculas, series he inclusive videojuegos competitivos, juego rainbow 6, valorant y csgo con estos audifonos y no se me escapa ningun paso, la carga les dura perfectamente una sesion muy prolongada de juego y de musica al maximo volumen con bajos al maximo unas 6-8 horas sin problema alguno, lo cual es mucho, recomendado para cualquier aspecto en audio y mas por su precio, no te arrepentiras
