Feeling the results
Was slightly apprehensive in using this, but after reading several reviews i bought x3 as I have single glazing. As I dont use a hairdryer to I fixed the double sided tape on the frames and fixed the sheets on to that and it left a gap between the glass and the sheet. I purposely did one whole window to see how effective the sheets are by comparing windows, and to my surprise it eliminated all the draught and cold. Needless to say i bought more for the rest of my windows and have felt a huge difference in temperature, which is good as it lowers my gas bill. Admittedly, i purposely didnt cover x3 window openings, 'a bedroom, living room and the kitchens entire frames', this is to allow opening them, but i did attach it to windows frame and again it works. I have had no condensation and my only downfall is that i only wished i had known about this product several years ago.

It's okay
Was okay to install, but difficult to get the film off the double sided tape. Tape provided was not long enough for all my windows. Run out before all the sheets were installed. Some parts of the plastic film had gray lines in it, therefore not completly clear. You also have to be careful when you use the hair dryer not to use the highest setting. The film might shrink to much and detaches from the edges. At the end it did not make so much difference in keeping my room warm, but probably because the windows were not the main culprit in loosing heat. All together it's okay, especially for the low price. However before you go through the trouble to install these, check if there are other main reasons for heat loss in your room.

Works well.... Use regular tape on the frame and put the double sided tape on top
I took a chance buying this considering the reviews, my kitchen window is single glazing and I'm renting for less then a year. The plastic sheets I received was thick and there was no chance of tearing, the double sided tape yes rubbish but I found that putting regular tape over the frame and then putting the double sided tape on top it worked really well and held in pace.Once I did that it stayed in position, used a hair dryer to tighten in and it was good. The kitchen traps heat for longer and the windows have less condensation. Will update review if I have any issues arise.

Fabulous! Works great..
Living in a Victorian property I have single glazed sash windows so winter is a nightmare. We installed this with no difficulty. I would say it’s best done by two people. Watching the wrinkles disappear when you use the hairdryer is mesmerising but it leaves a taut and completely clear finish. We noticed how much warmer the room was so it saved having to use additional heating in the living room. So happy to have found this, it will be a regular winter routine.

Might work if you're actually able to fit it
I may just have bungled it, but I found this impossible to fit:Attempt 1: sheet ripped while carefully repositioning. Attempt 2: Tape came away from the frame while heating the sheet near the window's edge, then a hole appeared and expanded. Attempt 3: Same again. Tape came away and a hole appeared. The trouble is you have to heat the sheet with a hairdryer on its hottest setting, holding it extremely close (within a quarter of an inch) to the window. However, heating near the edge will cause the sheet to come away from the tape, and the slightest accidental touch with the end of the hairdryer will immediately create a hole and ruin the whole thing.Lastly, I'm not totally sure my product was genuine as it didn't come in the advertised packaging.Unless you're prepared to buy much more than you need and have a huge amount of patience, I would avoid.

Buy the more expensive one
First pack i bought seemed ok , tape good and was easy to fit. Bought more packs to do the rest of the windows. Plastic was not as clear had some sort of dust/coating on it that was opaque. Windows did not look clear but cloudy. Two packs had a visable set of lines running through the whole of the sheet down one side, damage looks like it has come from the roll to roll machine during manufacturing. Rubbish do not buy.

cheap and effective insulation
They are very useful as cheap window insulation. Very easy to put up as you just tape around the window and stick on (the cut to size) plastic. As you use a hairdryer to shirnk the plastic to fit, they are pretty forgiving. I would say the most tricky part is removing the tape once you have taken them down during warmer weather.
