Otostick Cosmetic Ear Correctors

With the help of a family member, I put my Otosticks on for the first time last night. It was like a revelation. You're probably only reading these reviews because you're conscious, as I am, about sticking out ears but You're ready for surgery. Like me, you probably held your ears back in the mirror and wished they would stay in that position. With these Otosticks it's like a miracle, you hold them back for a few seconds and they don't return to the sticky-out position! I put them on just before bed last night and as describe, my Otostick stayed in position over night and survived my shower this morning. I don't expect to get seven days out of them, however I'd be happy with one or two days for special occasions when I feel my ears will look obtuse in photographs. The only negatives I can find is that someone has to help you put them on. Like me, you might be very private about your protruding ears and allowing someone to stick them back might feel intrusive. I have had no discomfort, however I forgot to factor in that I am a full-time glasses wearer when I chose this product. All this means is that my Otosticks are placed further down my ear and because of this have a slightly decreased result had I been able to place them higher where the legs of my glasses rest. My only other gripe would be that the protective backing is quite hard to remove and touching the adhesive will automatically limit its effectiveness to stay in place for as long as it should. Overal I am more than happy with the product. Who would have thought such a simple silicon adhesive could have such a massive impact on someone self-confidence. They are quite pricey but this reflects the quality and design of the product.

I first discovered Otostick after googling the cost of having my ears surgically pinned and nearly fell off the chair at the cost...i thought there must be something cosmetic out there ...and there was! Product details - I first ordered a single pack to try and have since bought more. You get 8 in a pack so 4 uses (if you need for both ears) personally each use has lasted me about a week, begore the edges start to become less effective and peel away. Using them - Each is a small bean shaped, silicone adhesive with 2 parts, part 1 sticks to the back of your ear and part 2 sticks to the side of your head and holds your ear back. The adhesive is quite strong and I have showered in them, washed my hair and slept in them without any issues. Personally I have had help putting them on to get them in the right place for my ears but mainly because my hair line behind my ears is quite low, so i pull my hair and skin back while my husband sticks them on. There is a paper stick on each part that you peel away to reveal the adhesive which can be a bit tricky. They are clear when you peel the paper so are hardly visible, people I've told I'm wearing them have said they wouldn't have known or seen them if I hadn't pointed them out. How they feel - The first time you put them on you can feel them slightly but not uncomfortably, after a day or so I literally couldn't feel them and now I forget I've got them on. Tips - My main tips are try to keep your hair away when you put them on because if it gets caught it does pull when you take them off. They do need a good pull to get them off and they do leave a bit if a sticky residue which can be removed by soapy water or something oil based. When they are ready to be replaced I take them off the night before just to let the skin breath underneath and put new ones on in the morning after my shower (making sure the area is clean and dry) In summary - They have literally changed my life, I've been wearing my hair up more and trying different styles that I felt I weren't able to to do before, I used to style my hair around my ears but now I don't have to. Anyone who feels their ears stick out will understand the challenges and emotional challenges you feel. To be able to 'Just put your hair up' is something you dream of. Otostick have helped me make it a reality and I love them. Problem is im now addicted and not sure I can live without them :-)

I purchased these originally thinking they were amazing. I was really impressed that there was a relatively affordable, decent option out there that actually worked. I got my first pack and some of them stuck well, others simply didn’t. I ended up wasting half the pack but I wasn’t too concerned just due to the fact that it was my first time trying out the product. I just received my second pack and literally none of them stuck to my skin. They had been kept in a cool place for over a week and my skin was washed and dry before application. I had to go through an entire pack and not a single one would remain on the skin. Long story short, bad batch. I personally wouldn’t bother with these anymore. £17 is absolutely ridiculous for a disposable product that doesn’t even work and has bad batches. I was fairly impressed with the first pack that I got, the second has just disappointed me.

I use these as I have extremely prominent ears, I love these so much! Yes they are on the pricey side but they can last up to a week at a time. You can wear them when swimming, showering, sweating, and they will not budge. Once removed the adhesive is easy to remove.

They slightly noticeable from behind but if you have your hair down you can’t see them. These are great for use every now and then but I would not recommend using them all the time because they do damage to the ear. When I first used them they lasted 10 days but since using them my ears have gotten more sore and now they won’t stick for longer then 2 days. These really have helped my confidence but they are very overpriced and have hurt my ears.

This product works well . The adhesion is good from 1 day to 4 if you use well. It requires practice to put it perfectly but it does depend of the shape of your ear. Sometimes leaves some glue on the back of the ear but its easy to remove so is not a problem. And its probably it stick to your hair so when you remove can take some of your hair out. But i still think is worthy( girls we lost hair all the time ... ). About confort is depend how you used it . If you do well it's perfect but otherwise if you pull your ear and then stick probably will give you a headache for the rest of the day. When this happens its better take it out from the begining (if you can feel it from the start of the aplication) . And let's be honest its really expensive for just to feel better with our appearance. So i extremly recomend buy (Mastix Extra Spirit Gum Adhesive 10ml) if you wanna continue use this Otosticks . Dont buy and waste money buying a lot of this things with one pack and the gum adhesive i recomended you you can use them more times if you want until you can't do it anymore or you consider you need a new one. This tiny amazing product has changed my life for the better !!! I bought these A couple of months ago and and did not want to leave a review until I had chance to wear them for a couple of months so I could give a honest & full review. I have to get someone else to fit them, but I prob could do it myself but I have not tried... I have two issues with my ears they stick out and also I have a condition called bat ears( which where the top part of the ear is flat rather than turned over) The otostick cannot rectify the bat ears but the part where my ears stick out They can. For years when I was younger I bullied about my ears which made me really paranoid about them and I would never not in a million years worn my hair up for fear of people taking the Micky out of me,but one day changed my life for ever my hairdresser was doing a assessment and part of it she had to put someone's hair like for a wedding and she asked me if it was ok ? So on the spur of the moment I said yes there was no one else in the hairdressers and my hairdresser knew how I felt about my ears and when she had done my hair looked amazing I have never had my hair put up due to my protruding ears. I had been to see plastic surgeons in the past about them but it is not cheap and could afford the op. I went home after my experience at the hairdressers I thought there must be something out there that could help with my ears so I went on the internet and and did a search and these came up and the reviews where good. So I thought nothing ventured nothing gained. And I have never looked back. When I 1st wore them my ears felt a little bit tender and slightly bruised only for a few days ,but now after a couple of month I cannot even tell I am wearing them, I wear them all the time changing them every 10 to 14 days. Or if they staring to come off but that has been rare. I have just spent 11 days in Spain and in either the pool or in the sea every day and they only came off after 7 days which I thought I was rather good !!! And the plus point I could wear my hair up the whole of the time in Spain which I have never felt confident in the past without feeling that people are staring at my ears, If you like me have spent your life feeling scared about putting your hair up or if you are male and don't like your ears sticking out then I would highly recommend this product!!!

I have always been super self-concious of my ears an have wanted surgery to correct them for years... However, my parents never agreed nor helped me take the steps to do so and just shrugged it off. I have resorted to trying double-sided sticky tape, headband to correct them manually, clipping them back with my hair, pulling my hair so tight in a pony tail so it pulled my ears back, you name it.. I tried it. Until i stumbled across these beauties!!! I recently found similar products of which were 10x the price!!! These have literally saved my life and boosted my confidence dramatically! Although they say they usually last for 3 days or a max of 7 days - i have had the same ones in for nearly 2 whole weeks! Yes, i have showered and washed behind my ears(where i could get to), i have taken part in sports activities, tried new hairstyles, and dyed my hair and these have not budged! I cannot reccommend these enough! When i first opened the box i was dissappointed to see there was only 8, i thought they would be gone in 2 weeks, but they have proved me wrong! I will forever be buying these whenever i do run out! Saving a pair for my 18th birthday so i can keep my self esteem higher for longer! Thankyou so much to whom ever created these wonderul things! It doesn't stick at all!! Super small package and very few useless items inside!!! Very disappointed.

Did not work at all!

Zunächst einmal muss man ganz ehrlich sagen, dass 20€ für 8 Otosticks recht teuer ist. Aber die Reaktion und Zufriedenheit meiner Freundin ist unbezahlbar. Vermutlich wird der Preis eines Tages sinken wenn es Konkurrenzprodukte gibt. Die kleinen Otosticks machen einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck. Wenn das Ohr und die Haut am Kopf sorgfältig gereinigt ist (wir haben erst mit Reinigungsschaum vom Müller und anschließend mit einem Alkoholdesinfektionstuch gereinigt und trocknen lassen) muss man die Otosticks erst ausrichten, die Folien der Klebepads abziehen und vorsichtig anbringen, damit nichts übersteht. Dann das Ohr kräftig gegen den Kopf drücken für 1-2min. Am besten zu zweit machen, meine Freundin hat zB ihre Haare hochgehalten während ich gereinigt und angebracht habe. Das Resultat ist umwerfend, man sieht die Otosticks absolut garnicht! Selbst wenn man davon weiß muss man schon sehr nahe kommen um sie zu entdecken. Sie fixieren die Ohren sehr sehr gut! Der Kleber hat uns sehr überrascht, da er keine Reizungen auslöst, aber trotzdem bombenfest hebt! Meine Freundin treibt viel Sport und deshalb steht sie an vielen Tagen zweimal unter der Dusche, die Pads halten trotzdem locker 7-10 Tage und mehr. Selbst als ein Otostick etwas deplatziert war und etwas überstand (einmal angeklebt kann mans nichtmehr verrücken) löste sich nach 4 Tagen leicht der Rand, das Otostick hielt dennoch 8 Tage durch. Ganz wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass die langen Tragezeiten vermutlich nur zu Stande kommen, weil meine Freundin zum Schlafen ein dünnes und angenehmes Stirnband trägt!!! Das ist sehr zu empfehlen um die Tragezeit zu verlängern. Ich persönlich finde es absolut nicht schlimm wenn bei jemanden die Ohren abstehen, aber da ich selber nicht betroffen bin, rede ich da niemandem was ein! Es ist aber richtig schön zu sehen, wie meine Freundin zum ersten Mal in der Öffentlichkeit oder beim Sport die Haare zurück bindet und sich dabei auch noch wohl fühlst!! Die Otosticks sind ein ganz klarer Geheimtipp, zB für besondere Anlässe etc. Auf Dauer dann aber doch eine teure Angelegenheit. Das Resultat ist dann doch eher ein Anreiz auf eine OP zu sparen. fantastici ,aderiscono una meraviglia,tanto che risultano anche un po’ difficili da togliere,durano anche 1 settimana dopo docce e lavaggi dei capelli tutti i giorni;unica pecca ,il costo un po’ elevato ed il fatto che le orecchie si indolenziscono un po’ se tenuti troppi giorni!

It lasts 4-6days depends.. its just so expensive so i never bought again :(
