SAMBRO Set for Creating Unicorn Bows, Multicoloured (SAM-4789-1)

JoJo Siwa bows are all the rage right now. At around £6 a pop I thought I’d give the maker a go for my nearly 8yo daughter. It appears quite fiddly, and I think she’ll need help doing it, but I think that could be nice for her to do with an older sibling.The item itself arrived promptly, was packed well as is the norm. The price was the lowest that I could find at the time and certainly didn’t make me feel like I’d been robbed.All in all I think this is a great buy, but you need to be aware that little fingers might need some help and there is every chance that you’ll be asked to buy additional ribbon and clips to make more once what’s supplied runs out.

My 6 year old daughter had such fun doing these. Good quality product. Many colours to choose from. Quite difficult for children to do alone and end product doesn’t always look as good as actually jo jo bows but we tried!

Nice concept but instructions hard to understand and can only make large bows which unfortunately don't look right on my daughter. My daughter loves it though so as long as she's happy so am I

My 8 year old hasn't made this yet but it seems that all aspects if this item is included in the package. Looks ok. Not worth full price and the bow are always in Claire's for £5 , I'd rather just buy them !

Bought two of these for my grandaughters for Christmas. Bows have been made, though not a straightforward process, And they do come undone. Nonetheless, the granddaughters loved the gift so that is why I have given it 5 stars

I purchased this for my daughter's 8th birthday (daughter huge Jo Jo fan!). After being initially excited at the prospect at making her own bows, it soon became apparent that my daughter needed adult help - despite the guide age on the box being 5. The instructions are poor and vague at best. The holding clip required to secure the bow was almost impossible to push on and my daughter was unable to do this and I too had great difficulty and only managed after applying brute force. After my daughter gave up with it, I tried and followed the instructions to the letter. The instructions did not advise when to take the bow off the maker or when to remove the holding clip. After tying the middle of the bow with the cotton supplied, you have to wrap another piece of ribbon around the center and just do a couple of knots. The result - a bow which you could have made a better job of had you not used the maker in the first place. The bow itself looks like a cheap lacklustre imitation of a cheap lacklustre imitation!!! Very disappointed in spending £20 on this worthless kit and what's worse is having very disappointed little girl 😞. Shame Jo Jo Siwa didn't actually try this before she endorsed it!

Good product arrived on time my granddaughter loves the bows and once you get your head round it it is easy to use.

I had to resort to you tube where it was clear that this item isnt suited for 5 year old let alone newby at bow making.. what I can say after watching the review on the tube it made sense but my 5 year old struggled. the ribbons are pretty but unless you go and spend money on 2inch bow ribbon this item is useless for small ribbons which I love using. I thought this would make my bow making skills faster but honestly it does and Im disappointed. I was gonna buy the bowdabra but after seeing reviews Im now resorting to go free hand and it WORKS!!! dont buy this cos you will be saddened by results..the glue is aweful.. i used a glue gun instead which was less messy and set more quickly

Bows came out great. Not for kids. To hard for kids to do.

Liked this kit - got it for my niece birthday

Following the directions to a tee, I ended up with a sad looking bow. After several attempts, my results did not improve. Stitching a metal Jojo logo on it will not fool anyone. It was impossible for my 6 year old to do

Missing cotton thread! Not to mention, tried to help my daughter with it using regular thread (string) and got lost with the directions. Decided to watch the video stated in the instructions and one of the first things it says is to "cut the threat into 4 equal parts" NOTHING OF THAT IN THE WRITTEN DIRECTIONS! DO NOT BUY! COMPLETE RIP OFF.
