What does it mean if the test line is slightly lighter than the control line?  Also, if it's darkest in the morning and lighter during the day?

I too was initially confused by the strength of the test line but after a few months of use I have found that  The main thing to remember is that when it is positive - it stays positive  - which is normally much darker than at all other times.

Question 2

How do you know when to start using these strips ? Do you start them on the first day if your period ? I am a little confused

Test everyday twice a day 11am and 7pm roughly NOT first morning wee and start testing from about 4days after you finish your period right though until you get your positive, youd want to have sex mainly when them 2 lines start to get stronger .. ideally everyday for a few days when it's a positive.

LENTIL SOUP- from couple of days before ovulation EVERYDAY until about 13dpo. People usually implant between 6-12 dpo so that's why we say to eat it all that time, yes it may get boring but it won't kill you, If it's going to get you preg, you'll try anything. (Also it keeps your insides nice and warm) get the tinned lentil and bacon soup, up to you how much you eat,  half a tin a whole tin everyday and eat it for lunch.

WARM FEET WARM UTERUS- keeping your insides warm is key to help implantation happen, I doubled up on socks and wore them all through out ovulation.

Question 3

Does the dark line mean I'm ovulating now?

It states that you are likely to be ovulating in the next 24-36 hours.  It detects the hormone surge rather than the actual release of the egg.

Question 4

I am finding it tricky to do the test at work. Has anyone tried to do the test out of hours of 2pm & 10pm? Also does it have to be left 20mins? thanks

Hello I've used the test at all sorts of times from earlyish to as late as 11pm- shouldn't make a difference unless you use your 1st urination of the day (think that can give a false positive due to strong concentration of morning urine). Think ideal time is 5- 10 mins if I recall instructions? I didn't get a positive result for months though it did help when I realised I get a sore tummy (like period pains) when I'm ovulating, so I could time my testing days better. But basically if yyou're getting a negative result for months on end and aren't pregnant then speak to your doctor. There's a simple blood test they can do to check you're ovulating so you know for sure. Also better to Check incase there's something wrong (Although I'm sure there's not- don't want to worry you!)
