When sim racing with a wheel on ps4 i don't want to connect via controller since it times out when not in u. can i connect via usb through a usb hub?

Hi I bought these and I can hear when am in an application on the pc but when am in a game I can't hear or speak? Any help or ideas? Thanks

Just to make sure, you have plugged your headphones into the sound card first (it's the part with the 7.1 switch and mute button) then unto usb. If not and you've plugged them directly into the 3.5mm jack in your computers sound card then it may not work with gaming. Just a thought and I may be wrong.

Unplug the 3.5mm headphone jack from the usb sound controller dongle and plug into the 3.5mm port on your phone. This is what I did with mine and it worked great. How good is the surround sound? Some people say its great, others say rubbish.

PS4 Perspective I find them really good when on standard stereo for gaming, really helps for hearing footsteps, but the 7.1 vss option is rubbish for gaming. I would recommend the headset
