China only makes the accessories and silicone products.
Wherever they are made however, they are of superb quality, and perform brilliantly

Le Creuset 3-ply Stainless Steel pans are made using a high technology, triple-layer system.  An aluminium core is sandwiched between two layers of premium quality stainless steel which includes special magnetic steel making the pans suitable for use on induction hobs.The multi-layering continues throughout the whole pan ensuring excellent heat conduction performance from base to rim preventing hot-spots.Some items have a tough, PFOA-free, reinforced non-stick coating. This provides a long-lasting, easy to use, durable cooking surface. When used correctly on MEDIUM and LOW heats it will provide excellent performance, releasing foods and residues easily. It is an ideal surface for healthier cooking with very little oil or fat.The rim of each pan has a specially designed "all-round" lip for drip-free pouring.Suitable for left and right handed use.The close-fitting lids make the pans suitable for "reduced-water" cooking helping to retain vitamins and nutrients - see later section for details.Handles are secured with stainless steel rivets.

Hi, we cook a lot of pasta and risotto dishes, which are a nightmare for even non-stick pans. How easily do these stainless steal pans clean up?

I've used these nearly every day for around 3 years to cook veg, pasta also brown meat (such as cubed steak for stews) and simmer such as curries and minced beef Bolognese etc. They always clean up easily in the dishwasher. I rinse out whatever has been cooking and just stick the pans in the dishwasher. They mostly come out spotless but occasionally there is some residue left over then just a few seconds with a Brillo pad sorts that out. It would be easy even without the dishwasher, again just rinse out under a tap, wash as normal and hit any residue with a Brillo. So much better than any non-stick pan because they withstand scrubbing. I still have similar stainless pans from around 7 years ago and apart from a few surface scratches they look as good as new.

Hi Pam, I use them on an induction hob and they work perfectly well and cook everything evenly.  I have used the Le Creuset set for over an year on these hobs and they do not burn or discolour the pots and pans.
