It works - better tuning stability and kill the "string *PING*" for £11!
I thought I'd try this one to fix the *PING* every time I adjusted the tuning (especially on the G and B string) which indicates that the string gets a bit stuck in the nut.Alternatively, I'd go to a luthier and have either my nut fixed or a new nut cut (graphtech). Well... I don't think I need to do that now. After applying the sauce, the problem is essentially fixed. And I have a feeling (probably all in my head) that even the vibrato has a nicer tone to it too. I like this sauce. So, for £11, I'd say its a rather worthwhile investment to increase tuning stability and avoiding the annoying *PING*! Not sure I believe the claim that the sauce increases string life from 1100 attacks to 12000, but hey... even double would be ok in my book :).

Cured tuning on LP G string. Worth the money.
Used on the G string of an LP style guitar. I thought it might be a gimmick but no, it's fixed the tuning! Works a treat.

Pricy stuff but it does the job.
Works much better than graphite or vaseline and the applicator is useful.

SEEMS TO WORK
Never having used this product before, it seems good on the face of it. I was old school and used to use pencil graphite in the guitar nut to help tuning stability and accuracy. So far so good. For the money, worth a try.

It seems expensive but works
I have used this stuff for years and find that my strings stay in tune and never break. The long life of my strings more than offsets the apparent high cost of this stuff. The tuning stability is a welcome adjunct.I recently did a gig with a particularly aggressive guitarist who broke three strings in as many songs. I bought him a tube of this stuff and he tells me that he has only broken one string since beginning to use it. Job done methinks!

Recommended!
This stuff works perfectly in my experience. I put a little (tiny amount) into the nut slots on all my guitars and also at all the contact points on the bridge, and everything stays in tune very well, even with heavy vibrato bar use. It's expensive, but I haven't found a better alternative, chapstick etc just doesn't seem to work quite as well..

Good, necessary but expensive.
I use it to keep guitars in tune - especially Gibson-style guitars..very necessary if you perform. Per gram its expensive!
