Flexibility, light weight and compact size
Excellent Wera cyclops connector that I use with my Wera 1/4” stubby short ratchet allowing me the flexibility to ratchet any of my hex bits in addition to my 1/4” sockets without taking up much space or adding much weight.

extension bars etc in a kit so us poor folk can afford
I must admit im a wera product freak i already had the 3/8 version which my daughter bought me for Christmas but i didn't have one for my 1/4 drive so i splashed out for this one. They are expensive compared with others out there but you can see an feel the quality, and since buying it i have used it twice an i am well impressed. I've bought all the the cheap versions over the years for a few quid from other supermarkets (no names) but if you want something that that is going to last as i've found sometimes its worth spending that few extra quid. However 6 quid would be more a realistic as the extra few quid you pay is more for the name an wera have a habit of not combining all the tools you want in one kit making you have to spend more to get the kit you want So WERA make a kit up with all your 1/4 3/8 1/2 versions of ratchet, extension bars etc in a kit so us poor folk can afford it

Really Superb Quality and Super Useful
As with EVERY WERA product the quality is second to none. This adapter enables you to use screwdriver type bits with your WERA ratchet driver and get into very tight spaces indeed!

Adaptable
Really useful adapter lets me use hex bits from other sets in my a5 click torque wrench. Nice locking mechanism. Way cheaper than buying sockets bits.

High quality 1/4 to hex adapter.
Very high quality and finish on this adapter which turns a 1/4” socket heading to a hex adapter for screw head buts etc. Works very well with the wera handles but will fit any 1/4 socket head too. Positive hold action with the sleeve working very well. Superb quality adapter. You can get cheaper, but you won’t go wrong with this one.

Here's how to open the packaging!
I got this adapter to replace one that I'd lost from my Wera 1/4″ Drive 8100 SA socket set which I reviewed back in September 2018. I realise it operates differently from other Wera adapters, and I don't mind the way it works, so I am happy to give it 5 stars. However the real purpose of this review is to show how to open the packaging, which seems to be causing problems for a lot of reviewers! All you need to do is snip the plastic tab where shown in the photo, firmly push part of the socket holder away from the tab until it clicks open, and then pull the socket off. No drilling, no cursing, and hopefully no damaged fingers!
