Dr Brown’s Deluxe Bottle Steriliser, Sterilise 6 Baby Bottles at Once Plus Parts and Soothers, Auto Shut-Off, Cycle Indicators

We bought this to replace a Tommee Tippee electric steriliser whose element had corroded (in less than a month!).First impressions are very positive. It is better made than the TT with excellent design for fitting Dr Brown bottles. Fitting 6 of the largest bottles is possible if you read the instructions carefully (see my photos! You need to remove the handle on the bottom shelf) but it is a squeeze / compromise. I’d recommend using this with 5 bottles.Seems to work much better than the TT much less steam releases during cycle (so contained within), captures drips much better, and cool-down warning very useful. Will update the review if issues arise in use but so far I’m very pleased and wish I’d bought this brand first!Update: after 3 months use this is still working perfectly. Very nice design. I’m baffled by those who report drips. No drips at all, due to clever design that channels the water. Would recommend both this and Dr Brown’s bottles in general.

I use this all the time and it does what I want it to do obviously sterilisation of baby equipment. It’s easy to use and fill. Just be careful there are two holes on the lid obviously to let the steam out well Due to being massively sleep deprived as anyone with a newborn is I stupidly burnt my arm over on of the holes and believe me you don’t want to do that it hurt for ages giving me quite a nasty burn. It was my fault and I haven’t been that silly againbut be aware of the holes ! Other than my sleep deprived stupidity I’ve had no issues with the unit it does what it should do and I’m over all happy with it !

An amazing steriliser brought one of the well known brands before this one and it was rubbish. Was recommended to dr brown and so glad I was the steriliser is amazing. Sterilisers the bottles so quick. It heats them up but also cools them down so you are able to make them straight away rather than waiting another 30 minutes for them to be touchable to make them up. Recommend to several of my friends and family.

Great steriliser, you can fit in 6 bottles but just mean that you can sterilise the lids which isn’t an issue. Doesn’t leak and I really like the design. Had to replace my avent since it leaked and had no issue with dr brown. I use their bottles anyway so definitely love the bottle and steriliser: wish I had bought this in the first place.

Fits 5 dr browns bottles max (wide neck ones). Water vapour will naturally collect at the lid, just open slowly so water can flow back into the inside, if you lift the lid up too fast the water will then of course flow to the outside of the sterliser. We just keep a towel under it. Been using for 3.5 months now. Just don’t use those kettle descaler sachets on it! Got to say the two sections are handy so you don’t have to lift the top section off completely to get to the bottom like you do with most other sterilisers. Really easy to use and not as bad as other reviews make out.

This is a really bad product. Do not buy.As other reviews have outlined on Amazon, this is poorly designed and built. I bought it based on the Dr Brown's name - but they have clearly gone downhill. I had this steriliser for 6 months before it broke.I bought this with my own money and was careful to read the manual and look after it.Design issues with this product:1. It only fits 5 bottles not 6 as it claims.2. It has a very fiddly double opening design, which if you are not careful with - you end up with the steriliser sitting in a pool of water on the kitchen top.3. It has a very short power power cable. This is highlighted as a 'safety feature' in the manual. In fact it adds nothing to 'safety' and is just a pain in the neck.4. It has this irritating set of of LED lights that it has to cycle through before you can actually switch it 'on'. So you have to press the button, wait for the light show to finish, then press the button again, before it starts to heat up. All this extra faff is not what you need at 3am in the morning when you're trying to deal with a screaming baby.5. The switches require 2 hands to press. Again - not what you need when holding a baby. One hand to hold the unit and another to press the switch. If you just press the switch it simply moves backwards on the kitchen surface. Unless you brace the item against a wall or something else, it's a two handed operation. Not what you need.Manufacturing Issues:1. Broke after 6 months. However when I say broke, it's actually worse than that as it did not simply 'stop' working altogether, at least then you know it's broken. It seemed to be working - light show initiated etc and begins to heat up. But then stops after about 1 minute. So I only realised it was not working when the bottom of the unit started to fill with water.The implication is, I thought the bottles were sterile for my baby - but actually weren't. NOT GOOD.In summary: badly designed, badly made, created a potential health issue for my baby. Dr Browns have really dropped the ball with this unit. Do not buy.As ever - excellent customer service from Amazon. I returned the item and was given a refund.

Really easy to use and the cycle is really quick. Only downfall it doesn’t fit 6 wide neck dr browns in with all the bits that come with the bottles

This is really easy to use and has plenty of space to sterilise everything plus my milk powder pots. The only thing I would say is that there are cheaper versions out there which are just as good.
