Very neat gadget if you want Bluetooth connectivity in your car
This is a great gadget and so easy to use. It allows you to play all your music / podcasts etc from your phone (I use an iPhone 7 plus but if you have a bluetooth function on your phone, you should be fine) through your car radio, even if your car doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity. It works like so:First of all you plug it into your car lighter. Then pre-set one of the buttons on your car radio to a frequency that isn't being broadcast on by a radio station (I use 108.00 FM). Go back to your T11 FM transmitter and make sure that it is also set to 108.00 FM - and there you have it. Your phone should then be able to pick up the T11 FM Transmitter with its Bluetooth settings, and you can go ahead and play your music etc. If you are using the Sat Nav function on your phone, your music will pause whilst directions are given over the radio, and will restart afterwards. You can also apparently use the transmitter to take calls, but I have never quite figured out how to work this properly.Once it is set up, your phone should connect automatically once you get into your car and turn on the engine. It's really that simple and I'm very impressed with it.I have attached two photos showing the display both in the daytime and at night (it says 'unconnected' on the display because I didn't have my phone on me when I took the pictures).

Decent audio transmitter
OverviewI bought this transmitter for my partner as a giftPackaging & ContentsThe item came in a cardboard box (some branding on it + instructions & specs). The box contains a manual, the transmitter and an audio cable (3.5mm jack at both ends). In ActionWorks fine, the microphone quality is actually quite good. It's easy to answer calls and switch from one mode to another. The prosGood build quality. A a lot of inbuilt connections (USB/SD card/Audio in)The consThe shape of the device and the position of the socket makes it impossible to use the handbrake. I will have to purchase another extender now. It would have been great to extend the angle of the device (maybe up to a 90 degree tilt). There's a constant hiss even at the lowest audio level -quite annoying actuallyConclusionQuite a nifty device (I have no idea how they managed to cram that much technology on that PCB), however the audio quality for music via FM is sub-par. Maybe it's the car...

Impressive for the money
I was very impressed with the performance of this little device for the money.Firstly, as some other reviewers have pointed out, the plug is a tight fit in the car cigarette lighter. I found that the only was I could insert it was to hold the two spring loaded contacts in as I pushed. It was a bit fiddly but I intend to leave the device in situ, so won't be too much of a problem for me.I found that 87.6 is a nice clear spot on the radio in my locality, so set the unit to that frequency, and it has been working fine. The volume goes up to 30, and I have found that I can hear a little bit of distortion when it is set over about 25 or 26, so I have left mine set at 25. Sound quality wise, it sounds pretty much like an FM radio station to me, so is fully acceptable. (Remember that FM radio stations use expensive audio processing to get a good sound, and this thing only costs £15 and is never going to sound quite as good). It is slightly worse in quality to a CD. I have not noticed any undue amount of hissing or humming. You are never going to get CD quality sound if you are playing mp3's via an FM transmitter, but this does as good a job as you can expect, especially considering the price. The device takes about 10 seconds to pair to my iphone 5s via blutooth, and works perfectly for making and receiving calls. It pairs every time I get in the car with no problems whatsoever encountered. I have left the device in situ in the car, and when I switch the ignition on, it starts playing the track it was playing when I switched it off, and 10 seconds later it tells me my phone is paired. For music, I have found that it works well from both a USB stick and a micro SD card. I have loaded a couple of thousand tracks onto a micro SD, in 5 separate folders, and the device allows me to play the music in each folder separately, which is great. All in all, one of the best uses I have found for £15 recently! It does make me wonder why you see so many idiots driving around holding a mobile phones to their ears, when for this kind of money you can have a hands free device that plugs in so never needs charging.
