BiodermaSebium Global Cream for Acne Prone Skin, Intense Purifying Care, 30 ml

I have really bad acne, so I have to deal with painful cystic spots that pop up all the time. I've tried lots of creams (including Effaclar Duo that everyone likes - works okay but not particularly noticeable results for me, sadly) but I found that this Bioderma one works the best in actually calming my skin down. I normally put it on every night (little goes a long way, which is a bonus!) after removing my makeup with micellar water and I let it sit for around 10 mins to get fully absorbed. I've been using it a couple of months now and have noticed that my skin looks much better - I still get spots but they're nowhere near as bad as they used to be and that's so amazing, because my face looks almost alright now and I can live with it! The only downside is that it sometimes can sting a little bit (so careful not to use too close to your eyes or mouth) and, although I think it could be used carefully under makeup, I find that if you touch/scratch your face that it peels fairly easily - so I use a different cream in the morning (I use Effaclar duo for this, but any other non-comedogenic moisturiser should do the job) and the Bioderma one on clean skin to actually work on the spots before going to bed. Overall these are very small issues that I'm willing to overlook because the cream does its job so well and I'm really happy!

I am so impressed by how this product immediately helped reduce my breakouts. I have seen an instant change - the spots are smaller, less red, and after three days they're almost gone. However, it stings my face, although that feeling disappears after a few uses once the skin gets used to it. Considering how well it reduces spots and that it stings, I presume it's quite aggressive, so I wouldn't use it as a moisturiser on my entire face, as I don't think that's what this is for anyway. I just apply it directly on spots once they appear, and then stop using it once they are gone.

Bought this based on some good reviews I'd read..only used a couple of times so far. But has a lovely fresh smell and is light in texture and sinks in well. My skin has been kept mat so definitely working on the oil control front too early to tell if it lives up to its other claims but fingers crossed. Well packaged and prompt delivery!

I had high hopes after reading the reviews and although it works a little, it’s not 100% successful, my skin is somewhat better like 50-60%.it also leaves your skin feeling dry

Love this brand and happy now I know I can get it on Amazon as never seem to find the products I want in high street shops! I have sensitive, acne prone skin and these products have worked wonders. I use the sensibio foaming cleanser at night followed by sebium hydro moisturiser. Then in the morning I use a micellar water to gently cleanse, followed by the sebium global. Works great as a makeup base and my skin looks and feels great

i used it only 4-5 days, my skin is incredibly burning and peeled off. Should I buy another cream to repair it now?

Excellent. Non greasy. Matt. Great. Use it once I've cleansed and toned. Good base for make up too. A little expensive but I'm finding that is par for the course for these types of products, though it balances out with the toner being more reasonable. With other brands ALL the products can be super expensive.
