This universal socket has the potential to be a good tool, but its design falls short in one critical area. The pins don't extend deep enough to provide a secure grip when trying to loosen bolts that require a significant amount of torque. As shown in the accompanying image, this can make it difficult to release stubborn bolts. However, the socket can still be useful for tightening bolts if you don't have the right socket attachment size. In summary, while this universal socket offers versatility, its design could be improved to better handle high-torque applications.

This is a gift for secret santa. Not been used yet, but it does look very good.

This works by retracting the spring loaded pins as you push the socket over the nut or bolt.It will adapt to the size by grabbing one of the hexagon sides and forming the others with the long none retracted remaining pins.It will only work on smaller sized nuts and bolts and I wouldn’t consider it for much more than light work.The chrome is good and the socket appears well made.It has a short extension included and arrives in foam and boxed.
