Beautiful case, minimal bulk/protection
Like a lot of people, everything I do seems to be linked to my phone, and being the carer for my elderly grandparents, I need my phone to be with me at all times, whether that's out in the forest walking the dog, or just pottering about the house, in case they fall or have an emergency. The problem I have is that my reputation as Mrs Butterfingers is well deserved. If I can drop it, it's likely that I will. This means I need a case which can deal with drops from pockets, tables and the edge of my desk.I was initially attracted to this case by its colour. I chose the navy blue, and it really is as nice as the photos. A matte, slightly rubbery finish, and a slight sheen to the blue. While it's not exactly anti-slip, it is safer in the hand than the phone without a case. Thanks to the matte finish, there's no sign of fingerprints, even after a greasy session of cake baking, or a muddy afternoon in the garden. All very encouraging.Cutouts for the camera, flash and microphone, and the speakers, are very accurate. There is a small lip on the edge of the camera cutout to stop the lens making contact with the surface you place it on, but it's not a great deal higher than the glass of the lens itself, so protection is there, but minimal. The case itself grips the phone nicely, and is an excellent fit. The slits at the bottom corners allow it to temporarily expand to get it onto and off of your phone, but soon close up again. Because the slits aren't on the corners themselves, a weak point has been avoided. In terms of durability, I put it into my bicycle's metal basket for a bike ride into town, and it coped well with all the bumps and impacts. No sign of any damage to the blue finish, but I have only owned this case for a couple of days, so I couldn't say whether this will change over time. The finish on this case reminds me a lot of a Casemate case I had for my iPhone 3GS many years ago, where eventually the rubberised top layer wore off in patches.Drop protection is a bit contentious. I know other reviewers have said that they've had good results when they've dropped their phones, but if you're prone to butterfingers moments like me, you'll undoubtedly be aware that single layer cases like this don't provide maximum protection. To be honest, I think that if I dropped this case on the ground, it would scuff off the blue paint finish. One thing missing from this is the raised lip around the screen area which you get with more substantial cases, which means that if your phone falls face down in this case, the screen takes the entire impact, whether you've got a protector on it or not.In the hunt for the perfect case for me, I have purchased a lot of phone cases, and this is considerably better than what I'd say is its mainstream competitor, Spigen's "Air Skin". The Air Skin is a thin and flimsy plastic, which can bend and fracture easily, while this is a harder plastic, which has a bit more give in it, and I would say provides a better level of protection for your phone.Overall, I do like this case. It is a gorgeous colour, and I love how minimal it is. The phone's good looks show through easily. However, on the other hand, the minimal styling of it means that I'm so worried about dropping it that I can't bring myself to use it as my everyday case, and I'm heading back to the drawing board and searching for something with more protection. If you're not going to be in a situation where your phone will be at risk of falling onto hard ground, I'd say go ahead and buy it. It is well designed, and a beautiful colour, which really adds no bulk whatsoever. The consequence of that is that it offers no real protection against more than even the slightest drop, so balance that against its good looks before you make your decision.

Highly recommend this case for iPhone 7 Plus
I've destroyed 13 iPhones in various ways over the last few years. So with this phone, I decided to order the Torras iPhone 7 Plus case in Gold. I was looking for something ultra slim that would protect the edges if dropped, and to prevent scratching to the screen and back. As you can see from the pictures, the gold case is a very close match for the actual iPhone colour-wise, but has no Apple logo on it.It is incredibly thin - giving virtually no bulk at all to the phone (again as you can see from the pictures). It snaps onto the phone snugly, and if anything, is a little difficult to get off without distorting the edges of the case. Also included in the box is a screen protector - a separate film that sticks directly onto the glass. I have tried several of these in the past, but this was by far the best. Very easy to apply without bubbles, and didn't affect usability at all in terms of the touch screen. The only thing I thought was a bit weird, was that the buttons on the side of your iPhone are covered with flap-like protectors rather than just having cut-outs so you can press the buttons directly (again, look at the photos - it's pretty hard to explain). I don't know what their function is, but it does not affect the operation of the buttons at all.UPDATE! I dropped my phone onto concrete the other day and when I picked it up, the screen was shattered. I say the screen, but no, it was actually the screen PROTECTOR that had shattered, and my iPhone screen underneath was INTACT! So if you are wondering whether this product does the job, it DOES - brilliantly. And there was no damage at all to my phone on the corner where it landed because of the case. I have now ordered a new screen protector because I am so impressed.UPDATE: It is now June 2019 and I have had the case for a year. The colour has rubbed off where my fingers have held the case. Also, I took it on holiday with me and the coating on the case bubbled in the heat. I've now replaced it with a clear silicone case, but still think it isn't bad value for the money.

Super slim and sleek
This is my 6th Torras phone case as I have been using them for years now for the various iPhones I have owned. I have also purchased a few replacement cases for the the phones I have dropped which resulted in a broken case, but thankfuly not the phone itself.I love the slimness of the case and how streamlined it looks. I was searching for a case which added no bulk to the phone so I can easily slide it in back pockets or a slim purse. This case is barely noticable on the phone except for the bright colours I choose. My fave has been the red lately which just looks stunning on a black phone. I decided to buy a black iphone so I had the flexibility to change colours via the case and still make it look sleek. The texture of the case matte and grippy enough to allow yourself use of the phone with one hand. I only change the case when I break it as otherwise I would be prying the case on and off all the time. The fit is snug so i dont want to risk breaking it by taking it on and off.Highly recommended, sleek and slim, perfect accessory which looks great on the phone.
