Have used these once since buying and do the job. The wire which locks is long enough to go through suitcase zips without being overly long, lock securely and the code was simple to change. There may be more heavy duty available or others with more functionality but for the price this was a good purchase.

Easy to set, good locks, next day delivery, fantastic customer service

I needed some locks with a longer shackle in order to 'secure' some small hard cases with recording kit in. These TravelMore branded ones are up to the job, with a 95mm cable length. At which point I should clarify a couple of things: by secure, I actually mean prevent casual opening of the cases by family members and others who might fiddle with my equipment (ooh err). I don't mean prevent a determined thief from getting into the cases, which is just as well as these obviously wouldn't do that. The cable, despite being 'ultra-strong' steel encased in a sheath, lends itself to being cut thanks to the exposed length. Assuming, that is, the bad guy didn't fancy guessing the three-digit combo which isn't as time-consuming as it sounds. Or is too lazy to go Google the easy way to open such a padlock, or has bought the appropriate TSA skeleton key. So don't buy these for some kind of ultimate security defence, buy them to keep things shut and put off the casual opening of whatever you've locked. They are, however, very good value for money considering you get four in the pack. All of them worked as described, all lock combinations were changed first go without any failures. I would buy them again, for the same type of usage scenario...

Great on back packs for traveling light

It is very compact, and very straightforward and easy to use. I like that the loop is flexible, and one end of the loop comes off when you turn to your code and press the button. It is very strong, and I think it will be able to be used for a very long time. However, when you try and put the lock back on, you have to push one end of the loop back in the hole, which is harder than normal ones since the loop is flexible and fiddly. Overall, it is a great product and I will definitely be buying again, it is very useful and affordable, definitely worth the price.
