I was charging my phone and resting it on my bed (uncovered) like I have with the cable since I bought it from the seller on August 2017.I got a notification from a friend on my phone and out of pure luck I picked my phone up to check it - Almost burnt my fingers because the charging wire near the end was so hot and I could smell burning. I seen that the phone wasn't being charged yet the cable was sending power.. A few minutes later and I guess my bed would be on fire.Maybe it was pure chance that my cable failed and not a quality/manufacturing issue but either way i've thrown away the second cable I got in the pack and will stick with manufacturers ones.If you're on a shoestring budget it may be worth a gamble but for me, never again.

Bought this cable to charge from the wall to the table top, cable length (just over 6ft) is more than sufficient for my needs. The cable fits nicely into the Samsung Galaxy S8 with no issues, tried tugging at the cable at the phone end and it stays in very well. This cable is allows fast charge. Purchase this cable when it was £9.99, well worth it at this price.Not used the cable for data transfer so I am not able to comment on whether it reaches the 5Gbps transfer rate and also on how well made the USB-C connector is as I have only had this for several weeks, (unlike some other USB micro cables that I have used on previous phones where the connector bent, only time will tell how on well made the connectors are).

Not the greatest, after a few months they become lose and charging is interupted. Bought two and both have had the same problem. Good for the price and they do still work. Just abit if a pain really.Following this review, the company emailed me and sent out two new cables. Very nice gesture and great customer service! However, both new cables drop charge when they are positioned in certain ways and intermittent fast charging. These new ones seem of a worse quality than the first ones I bought.(I have a work phone with the original charger which charges this phone up no issues so I can only assume it is the cables)

These cables work great and the quality feels good. When I say they work well I mean that they can deliver a substantial current throughput to your devices - certainly all the current delivered by a rather powerful power supply to recharge my Samsung Galaxy S8+ in slightly less than 90 minutes.

Works as expected, which is always good. I like the fact that the cable is bigger than the ones that came with my phones.I tried it in two different phones, an OnePlus 3 and with an Honor 8. With the Honor 8 it supports fast charging, but on the OnePlus the fast charging doesn't work. And this is the reason why I only give 4**

Good quality product, seems to be tough and hard wearing.Can't comment on its speed charging properties as purchased for multi usb plugs for home and work.Quick, next day delivery. Cannot fault. Will no doubt purchase again in the future as the need arises.
