6 x Knightsbridge Downlight Spotlight Hole Converter/Conversion Kits GU10 & MR16 White Finish

Instructions a bit lacking but worked them out eventually. Apparently, the small centre bulb holder has to be fitted after offering the enlarger to the hole (in my case a 90mm hole) which covers it and then the holder snaps up into that and the spring arms flick over and keep the whole fitting in place. Its a bit fiddly to get the wiring through both apertures first but it does a very good job when done and looks clean and sharp when finished.

Just purchased my third batch of 6. Excellent product, simple to fit, they look great and it is easy to replace the bulbs (especially when compared to the units they were replacing). Great service from the supplier (Bamford) as well. Very prompt delivery and goods were well wrapped. I will keep on buying.

This is a very good product and it looks very good. It is easy to fit and comes with all parts to replace an old fitting or install a new one. Good value. My only quibble is that the spring clips supplied which hold the bulbs in place are too strong to operate with fingers and it is very tricky to use pliers.

These are quite easy to fit and look much better than the old-style spotlights they are designed to replace.The instructions are comprehensive, but do need to be carefully followed.I used them with GU10 mains voltage halogens to avoid needing to install transformers.

Bought to replace very dated old eyeball spots. The blanking plate only just fitted our very large ceiling cut out so ended up cannibalising the old fitting (and spraying it white to match) to cover the hole edges neatly. Assembly instructions are text only- a photo or sketch would have made life easier. The connections are simple enough but quite hard to manage with less than eight arms . Holding the connection box (which detaches once the cover screw is removed) the blanking plate now dangling from the ceiling wire and the newly assembled bulb holder. There is an Interesting mix of slot and cross-head screws too so you need your fourth, fifth sixth and seventh arms to hold two screwdrivers and manoeuvre the supply wires and the wires on the unit. I found it best to leave all the screws of the chocolate box connector open until both wires were in situ, then tighten. Leaving your eighth and last arm to simply hang onto the step ladder! In the end they work and look pretty good, once the blue air has cleared.

Second set of Knightsbrige Downlights I have had from Bamford Trading, again very pleased with the product. It is as advertized, good well designed and produced product, relitivly easy to fit. It does the job and does it well. Delivery was well within the quoted period.
