Roundup Tree Stump Weedkiller, Super Concentrate 250 ml

Super easy to use. Comes with a pippet so very easy to use & safe to keep away from skin which was helpful. Effective on live shrub stump wood. Did two applications a week apart. Followed instructions. Avoided using when rain was due. Fairly big size.

Bought and used this last year in September. Used for two conifer stumps about 6" in diameter and three shrub stumps about 1-2" in diameter. Drilled holes as recommended and applied twice.This week, which is about nine months after applying the killer, I've finally got around to trying to get the stumps out.An important point to make is that it's a stump killer and not a stump rotter i.e. it stops further growth on the stump but doesn't rot the stump making it easy to get out of the ground. It does the same for the roots which are still as difficult to get out as before applying the killer. The shrub roots turned quite a bright yellow (which surprised me but is evidently common) and the conifer roots were a browny colour.When I bought it I was expecting it to rot the stumps but perhaps that was wishful thinking but it did kill the stumps so that was a good. Maybe if you leave it for a few years it may rot the stumps but I have no way of knowing.Overall I'm pleased that it prevents further growth from the stump but a tad disappointed that it didn't rot the stump.

Excellent item which was delivered promptly. I’ve been pulling out thistles and ivy behind some plants and shrubs which I do t want to loose. So as a tip you can use the dropper to put a tiny touch of the liquid onto a couple of leaves and the job is done. Just leave to die or if stubborn apply again.

Was sceptical on its performance when I made my purchase but that has been unfounded. Have used on a large Lilac tree stump after cutting the tree down. Lilac trees tend to throw up tendrils that sprout up a short distance away. These I left to see if they where killed when the killer was applied to the stump. within a day or two these went brown and died. So lethal be careful in its use.

Have bought this before and it does work really well, but you have to be patient as you don’t see the restore a couple of weeks. We’ve used on ivy and tree stumps. It obliterated the ivy which hasn’t come back a year later, and also stopped shoots coming out of tree stumps,The reason for a 3* rating is because the new bottle I ordered was received yesterday and first it wasn’t sealed and looked like a quarter had gone. There was no pipet, and then, most importantly, it was dated 01/2026 so was out of date. Easily sorted through customer support and a new one has been issued for delivery, but still irritating since I now can’t do what I had intended this weekend.
