GB eye Contemporary Wooden Oak Picture Frame - Maxi - 61 x 91.5cm

I just received 3 of these and I'm very happy. Having read mixed reviews from other purchasers I thought I would take a chance. The frames arrived well packaged in a large cardboard box with plenty of tape. Each frame was covered in cling film with solid plastic corner protectors. Each plastic sheet that covers your poster is protected front and back by more film.Inserting a poster is pretty straight forward. Loosen the metal clips that secure the backing board and remove the board and paper sheet. Insert poster and replace the backing board pushing the metal clips back down to secure. The backing board comes with 2 prefixed hanging points so you can hang it landscape or portrait.Three tips for you:1. If your poster is smaller than the frame you can use the paper liner, turned over, to provide a white border.2. Don't unpack and assemble your frame on the carpet. The protective film creates a lot of static and you will end up with carpet fibers stuck to the plastic sheet that covers your poster.3. I used a large grided cloth on my table when inserting my, smaller than frame size, poster which allowed me to centre the poster perfectly before replacing the backing board.Buy these for your posters! They are cheap, good quality, very light and easy to put together.

Sturdy, plain and clean, generally fit in with any room. Easy to hang. Backplate can be a bit fiddly so use a tool to gently prise up the metal bits, if anything just to avoid knocking them out which can happen. They've kept my posters well and are easy to reopen when they need a lift.I always get these frames. I suppose that goes without saying else my walls would be covered in mismatching poster frames. And then where would I be.

I have not put my picture in it yet but initial thoughts are that it doesnt feel or look too cheap - even though it is pretty cheap! Its a good weight for a wooden frame and arrived promptly and well packaged.ONLY cricitsm is that the frame is a little flimsy (it twisted a surprising amount when I pulled it out of its box) HOWEVER I didnt expect heavyweight and solid wood for the price and once on the wall no one will know that its not that sturdy!overall = pleased.

A great frame

It exactly what i wanted right colour great quality. The hardboard back fits really tight which is good but i did struggle to get it in and out. Looks great thought and im very pleased.

It looks nice, but it's very fragile. It's basically laminated MDF, and it has split in two places when putting in the poster. Luckilly, neither place is visible from the front, but obviously this material simply isn't strong enough for a picture frame, it splits far to easily at these dimensions.Stick with real wood or plastic, but stay away from MDF frames, they're a waste of material. At least I have a backboard and Perspex panel already cut to the correct size, so I can go ahead and build a solid wooden frame. I wouldn't be have been much cheaper buying the Perspex and backboard spereately to be honest (it's around £12 for a Perspex sheet of this size), so I haven't wasted much money, just time. It's a shame too, because the frame actually looks quite nice!

For the price these frames are exceptional value for money,they look good when mounted,they are the perfect size for posters.I found them easy to work with and install and i was very impressed that the protective film.Once mounted they look great and all in all im very satisfied

The frame has been made really cheaply. I ordered a frame which arrived damaged, snapped at the half way point. I returned and reordered. The second frame also arrived damaged. For what the product is you'd expect it to be better packaged to avoid damage in transit. Communications with the seller were ok but they wanted me to take photos and dispose of it myself, I opted to return both via Evri. Wouldn't recommend.

Der Rahmen wirkt hochwertig und stabil und sieht an der Wand sehr gut aus. Viel besser als diese dünnen Plastikteile. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis (vor allem wenn man beachtet was solche Rahmen sonst kosten können)

Ho ordinato questa cornice che non è mai arrivata e il venditore non ha mai risposto a nessuna delle mie domande. Al posto della cornice (2 MESI DOPO LA DATA DI ARRIVO PREVISTA) mi è arrivato un cartellone con scritto "maxi poster" e le misure. Se non è una presa per i fondelli questa non so cosa lo sia. Non è possibile mettere meno di una stella ma sicuro sia il venditore che il prodotto valgono meno ancora.
