Update: I’ve changed my rating to 5 stars because I am just now reordering these. They’ve lasted a long time and deserve another star!I ordered these socks to compare them to Bombas’ low cut ankle socks. I wanted a high cotton content sock (personal preference) that would work well inside a running shoe for walking and jogging. I found them superior to the bombas brand in all ways save one. Whereas a comparably sized bombas sock (according to the bombas sizing chart) fit much too loose and caused wrinkling and bunching when I put my foot in a shoe, these socks fit appropriately. I’m a women’s size 9 and these are comfortable with plenty of stretch but not so loose that they bunched up. I also had problems with the bombas band at the top of the sock being too tight and digging into the top of my foot/front of my ankle, possibly because I have very high arches. I had no problem with the band on these socks. The material is woven loosely on the top of the foot giving it a nice breathability, but thickly on the heel, under the foot, and around the toe for cushioning. The extra amount of material at the back of the ankle works well to keep it from slipping inside my shoe as I jog. There is a more tightly knit band around the arch of the foot that I found to provide comfortable support. The only way that these socks could be improved is if they had a flat knit toe seam, as bombas socks do. There is a significant seam at the toe which would irritate if you have sensory issues or were wearing them for repetitive motion excercise. I solved that issue by turning the socks inside-out when I wear them. They are now near perfect running socks for about 1/4 the price of bombas socks.

It's increasingly difficult to find socks that are either100% cotton or close to. These fit the bill. After Washing in hot water & bleach over the past 2 months, these socks have retained their bright white color, shape, and fabric quality.HOWEVER, I'd only recommend these for NARROW feet. The band around the instep is quite tight. I bought these for my mother who has a high instep & wears a size 9 regular width (B or medium) in shoes. They were too tight and extremely uncomfortable for her. She gave them to me because I have a very narrow foot (A, AA, or narrow width shoes). They fit just right. I am looking to find a more relaxed style within this same brand as we are pleased with everything else about the sock.

Ordered Friday night, her by Sunday afternoon (prime).From the second I opened the package I could tell these were going to be very good quality socks (they weren’t wrapped on plastic). They look exactly like the photos and feel very soft. More cotton feel than the spandex but they do stretch comfortably. I’m Definitely purchasing again.

I bought these ankle socks to have something to put on over my nylons, so that I could bounce safely on my rebounders (similar to mini trampolines used for adult exercise). They are absolutely perfect for this purpose! They fit snuggly over the instep, so they don't move around on my feet once they are on, yet the toes remain reasonably roomy. They have a knit band that holds the instep firmly, and they have a more airy knit over the rest of the top. The back and bottom of the sock is a little thicker, so it does feel somewhat cushioned. The bottom of the socks are neither too smooth nor too rough to use on the rebounder mat. If I were to wear my ordinary shoes with them, they might be a little too thick for that, but they are perfect for sports that would otherwise work with bare feet, or for walking around the house comfortably without shoes. Or, if you have a pair of shoes that is a little too big, they would take up the extra room, beautifully. For my purpose, they are great! The price was very reasonable, and they came packed beautifully in a black box that looked quite elegant. If ankle socks could be a suitable gift for someone, or for yourself, don't hesitate to get them.I bought an additional box of these several months later, because I liked them so much. My purpose was to use them with black sandals, so that the sandals would look like shoes. This turned out to be a good idea, but I feel disappointed that the first of the socks that I put on had a couple of mistakes in the knit, so that a string was hanging from the top and there was a hole in the line of stitches that fashions the shape of the heel! Had I been able to find a way to contact the seller, I would have done so to request a replacement of this sock (assuming that no others in this batch have the same problem). I would have very much appreciated that, because these socks are otherwise great! But unfortunately, I was unable to find any information that could lead to contact with the seller, so I am forced to air this concern here.I am of two minds whether to reduce the star rating to a four, because I have already used the previously purchased set of four, which all were perfect. I am going to leave it at 5, because the product is so good.

I have a narrow foot, size 7.5 and they fit perfectly! I'd say they are a little on the thinner side and are not an "athletic" sock. I wear them to work with gym shoes as I am a nurse and they are perfect for me. I've worn them with boots and slip on canvas shoes as well. They don't make your shoes feel tight at all. I've had them for several months and they have held up nicely. If you are looking for thick and cushy, these are not for you. They aren't super thin or cheap by any means but an average weight, every day sock. They don't collect lint, fray or slip off the foot. I bought 2 packs and will be purchasing them again when needed.

Love these socks. They washed well, but i air dried them. I wear a size 9 shoe, so they were snug. My feet swell and they act like a compression sock to stop that. People with smaller, narrower feet wouldn't have that problem. as you can see from the pix, they are slightly padded on bottom. there is no toe seam, so no rubbing. they arrived quickly and packed in a nice gift box. I am going to order more. they're now my fav socks.

These are great socks as they come up higher than my other socks which helps prevent blisters when walking long distances. I will buy a second pack of these! Wish I'd bought the 6 pack instead of the 4 pack :(

I buy this type of sock regularly and these are by far the best ever. Quick delivery beautifully wrapped wonderful fit, they don’t creep down and very well finished. I have since bought 2 more sets in a different colour.

Lovely thick comfortable socks and perfect fit for me, I'm a size 5. Bought to wear with walking trainers that were nicking my ankle bone - these have solved the problem! Would deffinitely buy again.

Am a typical size 5 and these fits like a hand in golve. Or what a sock should do. Never once have I had to pull them up over my heel whilst walking or kicking a ball. Comfortable and spot on.

I wanted to buy socks that would be comfortable and allow my feet to breath in trainers and walking shoes. Having returned from holiday and walked 70 miles in one week can honestly say my feet remained dry and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend these socks to others and intend to purchase more now that I have found a good supplier. They wash well too with shrinkage!
