Seems to be decent quality, I was quite shocked to find out the wire is totally flat though, I thought it looked thick in the photos...

I ordered two black ones then went back and ordered two red ones as well.Did not notice the red ones have two straight jacks and the black ones had one straight and one L shaped.I ordered an 18" one to use to connect my Kindle Fires (yes I have more than one) to a Rokono speaker. or to join two Rokono speakers together in order to achieve a stereo effect. (you'd need a longer cable.)Getting on in years I find the Kindle Fire is not loud enough for me especially if in a case that partially covers the speakers. I can plug in the Rokono and use that to UP the volume.The L shaped jack plug is perfect to use plugged in the Kindle Fire as it means the cable is not pointing down or up when the Kindle Fire is in a stand or a case has the headphone socket on the bottom if the Fire is rotated that way.The 18" cable is ideal as a companion with a small speaker. Long enough to be a little away from the device but short enough not to tangle. Being flat the cable does seem to not tangle as much as rounded ones. The cable seems to have a cover which is sort of like silicone rather than rubber. I am not sure about the bright shiny ends - is this metal or plated metal or plastic. I tapped one on my teeth and it did sound like metal.I have listened to one Audible book since the cables arrived this morning and am half way through another. The Kindle Fire is not bad for tone when a human voice is reading a book but is greatly improved by the addition of a Rokono speaker which gives the voice male or female a softer tone. This new cable does not seem to denigrate or improve the sound of the Rokono speaker AND THERE IS NO CRACKLE AT ALL.I tried using the cable with my very cheap (made for the Asian market) Nokio phone and a Rokono speaker and found Radio FM which is well tuned in played without any crackling. My cheap phone also includes a built in mp3 player though I don't know how it works so perhaps an audible book would work fine on that too. Not tried the cable with my mp3 player itself yet but the voice reading a book that I am listening to now is as good as my TV or mains radio.

The cheap cable packaged with my soundbar started to crackle and lose signal within a year of purchase.No problem - buy a new one - but which one???Well I went for this one. It's a neat streamlined design (yeah, for a cable) and more importantly, it does the job well. No issues now a couple of months in.So 4 stars now, caveated with "no available proof of longevity" yet.If it fails I'll be back on here to update but otherwise if you need an aux cable to connect a sound bar to a TV then yes, I'd recommend this. It does exactly what it should and looks relatively attractive, for a cable!

The usual UGREEN quality. You can't go wrong with this brand. The cable and connectors feel premium, and I especially like the flat cable design. It’s sturdy, functional, and provides a great connection.

*My review now has a video*I'm going keep this review short and simple because the cable just works fantastically.I purchased the 0.5m variant of the cable.I purchased my VW Polo today (as of the review date) and it had a JVC kd-R302 installed into the head unit.Cable was delivered via Prime and came very quickly and packed into a small plastic packet.This radio player allows for AUX cables to be connected and the UGREEN cable worked PERFECTLY with my OnePlus One.Music played properly and calls would not go through my car stereo system although this is my audio player's setting.Cable length was sufficient as the radio player is just around 0.3m away from my air vent which holds my smartphone holder and phone of course.That's all I have to say really, there were no audio distortions or problems. Who knows what the future of it holds but it's gold jacked and I prefer these over silver jacked products.Great product UGREEN, would recommend it first handedly to anyone looking for a simple AUX cable to their smartphone!*UPDATE*Ugreen kindly supplied me with a 1m cable sample in which I done a video review for that's attached to this review :)

Excellent Quality

The flat cable is nice. It doesn't get tangled, except when it's in a rat's nest of other cables too, but you can't blame it for that. When it's on its own, you won't get knots.However - if you went by the pictures, and the fact that the contacts are 24kt gold plated, you'd expect the headshells were metal too. Sorry to disappoint you, but no. The inline plug's headshell is metal, but the right-angle plug's is cheap chrome-look plastic. The cable isn't entirely immune from RF interference, and this might well be part of the reason for that.That said, the cable functioned well enough - mild interference aside - on plane flights and with a PC, so it gets three stars for, basically, working. But don't be fooled by the pictures into thinking it's more than it is, or that it's great value for the price. Neither is the case, and I suspect that other cables from Amazon that both looked and were cheaper would have been just as good.

Purchased to connect an iPhone 5s to an auxilary input in a Range Rover L322. I have a phone case which makes it impossible to use my better quality (and much 'fatter') cables so sound quality from my iPhone through my car stereo was terrible. This Ugreen cable (I'm now on day 2 post-purchase) has done exactly what I needed it to. The 90 degree connection allows me to continue using my folio type case - where the plastic inner holder for the phone comes very close to the headphone socket - whereas previously I was having to take my phone out of its case leaving the phone vulnerable to damage and potentially damaging the case each time too or use the slimmer but lower quality cables. The quality of this Ugreen cable is excellent, I've listened to a range of music already and it's gone from sounding as if I was listening to music through a wall to well, almost as if I was listening using decent headphones. The cable isn't round, it's very flat so for me ideal in that it can slip in around the hinges in my car's centre console. The price was fair, the cable arrived swiftly next day via Amazon Prime and I received a speedy follow up customer services email from Ugreen so, so far, very impressed.

Lo quería para conectar un reproductor Hi-res a una toma auxiliar de entrada de audio que he instalado en la guantera del coche. Que el conector sea acodado me viene perfecto porque así no choca con la puerta de la guantera cuando la cierro. Que el cable sea plano también me viene perfecto porque así puedo cerrar la puerta de la guantera sin pillar el cable ya te pasa perfecto y no se muerde con los bordes de la puerta. Que el cable sea corto también me viene perfecto porque así no tengo rollos de cable incordiando por el medio del coche. Por último me hubiera gustado que el otro conector también hubiera sido acodado porque el reproductor MP3 lo tengo puesto con un imán en la rejilla del coche como si fuera un teléfono móvil y así hubiera molestado menos el cable pero de 10 puntos tengo 9 a favor así que es prácticamente el cable ideal que necesitaba y además prácticamente sin perdidas con un acabado precioso y de calidad, además el sonido llega perfecto hasta el equipo de música del coche que se oye espectacular. En definitiva puedo decir que en mi caso es el cable ideal que si hubiera tenido que hacerlo aposta hubiera sido exactamente así. En resumen no puedo estar más que encantado con esta compra que además ha sido súper económica y con muy buena calidad le doy un 10 sobre 10
