Ideal for climbing plant support wires
Used these for anchoring wires to support climbing roses, honeysuckle and cotoneasta in an ironstone wall. Worked a treat.

Does exactly what I wanted, at a reasonable price

Bend easily
Half marks because only half went into the wall. The others bent and had to be thrown away. The ones that went in are doing a good job of holding the plant training wires so in that respect they are fit for purpose. It’s just a shame they are not a bit stronger as they are too expensive to throw half away.

The demise of my local hardware shop as forced me to find supplies on line, these vine eyes are of good quality and suitable for the purpose of training plants.

Five Stars
Arrived on time and hammered into my wall easily but firmly. They do the job perfectly.

Effective if you prepare properly
Took advice from a previous buyer and drilled holes first into the mortar to avoid the risk of bending. After that, everything went absolutely fine - good job!

Good
They do what they are supposed to do but, if you are a silly woman like me, lol, make sure you use the right sort of hammer, not the heel of your shoe, to get them in the wall, shoe heels just don't work.

Bent after several attempts to hammer them into the mortar of a brick wall.
Couldn't get them to go into the wall, they eventually bent. Used screws and wall plugs in the end. Waste of money.
